I don't know what to say here because this particular chapter is really good. Very well written and thought out. I really like the way you expose the characters' emotions, particularly in the part when Hiroki shows up. You're building the conflict well, and that makes me want to see more. So far, you're doing a great job. Keep at it.

The story's rolling, and the tension's escalating. I have just watched several episodes of the anime, and I personally think that Takasugi is not that, well... 'badass', but you make him like one-the part about him you wrote in this chapter is like telling me that he will do anything (yes, anything) to get Ryo back (or to get back at Ryo?). This is a good chapter, nevertheless, and I want to see more. Keep up the good work. You're doing great.

Okay, I'm not all that familiar with Princess Nine, but I dare to say that this is a good start of a good story. I see nothing wrong plot-wise, so I have no comment for the moment. I'll keep watching how this story goes. Until then, keep up the good work.

Anyway, if we were discussing this in person I'd ask if you wanted the good or the bad first. Since I can't, I'll start with the good (most of everything).

The language is well played. The dialogue is interesting without getting into overly wordy, flowery lines that no one would ever actually say. The descriptions of Izumi's actions and words are especially striking, I thought.

The negative aspect of my review is at least half preference so I guess it shouldn't be read too much into... I don't think that Ryo/Izumi is the most believable couple, and to make it happen means a bit of character murder with Hiroki. He is annoying, but he's not really a bastard. I think there is shoujoai potential in Princess Nine, but I'd be more likely to find it elsewhere.
