sol113 chapter 46 . 5/17 Very entertaining ‘slice of life’ chapter here with Cassandra showing more personal growth from your fic than she did in earlier chapters (a success of character development) and having a well rounded support cast. You managed to make Red Robin a character other than Batman-Lite, I also like your subtle illustrations of how the new costume doesn’t look as ridiculous as the classic Robin costume. The bra scene was amusing and reminds me of how certain comic artist draw female characters as having noticeably larger breast when they are undressed than when clothed. The kleptomania seemed to me to be a reference to the Birds Of Prey movie which I actually recommend even though I have no idea why they had an OC named Cassandra Cain in it. Entertaining though. Overall a very entertaining chapter, and I hope you stay safe in the coming difficult times. |
Belle1995 chapter 46 . 5/15 Great chapter. Thanks so awfully much for the update |
Guest chapter 46 . 5/13 Warlock's daughter |
Rrit chapter 46 . 5/12 TIM CASS BANTER! I am HERE FOR IT! My fav duo kicking butt. The gallery moment reminded me of a heist movie. Really well done and FUN. You wrote Cass so well. She comes alive on the page. Her usual silence is made more intentionally playful. A lot of the newer comics miss that about her, her humor. |
friget234 chapter 46 . 5/12 Still the best Cass story I've ever read. Like that you're poking into some of the Morrison era stuff with Tim. |
Rrit chapter 45 . 4/14 This is silly but I’m glad the haunted house short was resolved in one chapter. You had me terrified and hoping dearly that’s this wouldn’t end on a cliffhanger. I read this entire fic over the course of the last two days and I’m so impressed with your work and dedication to stay with the story for almost a decade. I’m a fan now and eager for Tim and Cass team up! |
Rrit chapter 22 . 4/13 I love this story. I love it and it is a much needed contribution to my mental cannon of Cassandra Cain. Also. I see your NCIS references. Meta Human lab worker Abby? Jake DiNozzo? Nicely done. |
Guest chapter 16 . 2/23 Barbara saying "I always have time for you" to Cass was the best thing I've read so far because I adore their mother/daughter relationship. |
Veedramon chapter 45 . 2/23 People tends to forget, in Gotham is a bad idea to make bats angry at you. |
Guest chapter 5 . 2/22 I was happy when I read the words: 'Cassandra's surrogate mother'. So true, and it makes me happy that she has someone like that! |
Guest chapter 1 . 2/22 I wish there were chapter names... |
sol113 chapter 45 . 2/20 A great character piece chapter here; showing who Cassandra Cain is, her selfless nature, her mission in life. Also I saw the BOP movie. I actually like it; Margot Robbie does the work of three actors in one, the fight choreography is astonishing, the director is awesome, Ewan Mcgregor is a genuinely intimidating and often skin-crawlingly grotesque villain (how often does that happen in superhero movies). On the bad side they totally waste the actress playing Huntress Mary Elisabeth Winstead, I can't figure out if Rosie Perez is being serious 'wit dat accent do', I don't think it was a good idea to claim the city the movie takes place in was Gotham (any crime ridden city would have done frankly since none of Gotham's players except Black Mask show up) and no matter how many different ways I look at it I can't think of a single reason for the McGuffin character in this film to be named Cassandra Cain. |
XaoOfTheMists chapter 45 . 2/18 Yeah, the latest DC movie which I will not name was bad enough, but when I found out they put a Cassandra Cain that was just some kid pick pocket my rage was unbridled. Almost as bad were the couple of "comic book news" (coughbullshitcough) sites that tried to claim that this thing they did to Cass "was a good thing". Morons. |
BrokenMimir chapter 45 . 2/17 That was a good one. Cass could definitely make the abyss blink. |
Pivitor chapter 44 . 1/21 Hey, so glad you're still working on this story. Ken's a really interesting character, and I love what you did with him (and Crimson Avengers, an old favorite of mine from JSA). Keep up the good work! |
