I always loved it when Diego was forced into being a man of action without the mask and people started wondering if he was Zorro. ;)

This story addressed something I have wondered about sometimes-people's conviction that

Zorro is the only who can do anything to help. It's easy to see how they got into that mindset, but it's no solution to their problems! I sympathize with Diego's frustration over that.

I also loved Alejandro discovering Diego's feelings for Victoria without discovering that he's Zorro. It's been done before, of course, but it's more drawn out here, which really gave me a chance to enjoy the identity play. :-)

And you really made the baby work as a plot device! I normally avoid babies in stories because most authors don't seem to be able to make the idea work properly, but you did it perfectly here. (Of course, my negative experiences with babies in fic might be because I usually read slash, and it's not exactly a natural progression there!)

And here I was lamenting the fact that life had interferred with me commenting on each chapter as it was written. I guess life understood the master plan. I would never have had any peace waiting for your sequel.

Much fun! Lots of little breadcrumbs and lots of little trails, but in the end, it was the little rocking chair that did it; the end definitely reminded me of an episode ending ("One Special Night" comes to mind). Great job...but you knew that already. )

BTW, I don't think I've left any feedback on your other stories but I love them. I feel like I almost know the characters of this version of Zorro just from your stories. I've unfortunately never had the chance to see the Family Channel Zorro. I've seen almost every other Zorro out there though. My favorite would have to be Disney's, at least thus far. Any chance of talking you into eventually writing some fics for that series?

Actually the way I got into Zorro is kind of weird. See I was at the library and was just randomly looking at books when I found a Zorro book "The Secret Swordsman" and I figured what the hell lets read it. I loved it so I decided to find the movie (which they used to show in school but I didnt pay attention). It soon became a favorite. Then I started looking for the movie fanfiction (which there isn't much of) and kept seeing the New World Zorro stories and finally I read one. I think the first one I read was Pamz The Legend Unmasked. Then I realized that was part 11 so I went back and read the rest of those then I found the De La Vega Library and now I've read almost every Zorro story on and in the De La Vega Library.

Why won't you work on the LOTR? I really want you to update. Please. Pretty Please. Can you at least send me what you have of it? Please. I want more stories. Really I do. Please write more.

Actually I start college next week so I probably will cut back a little on hounding you about updating. Until you do, cheerio.
