I love fics like these too; rather than focusing on fluffy and lovey-dovey scenes, you chose to explain/interpret a certain part/angle on Ranma's love for Akane, :)

I also really liked how you portrayed the characters here, Ranma and Akane are perfectly in-character, although I don't know for Hinako, 'coz I haven't encountered her in the anime yet.

This is the kind of fic I really love: sweet, short and WAFF without exaggerated romantic moments... just Ranma and Akane being themselves, just perfect.

Besides, Hinako is one of my fave characters, she's hilarious and I love when she appears in the manga, so, even if here she's OoC with all the angst, I liked 'read her' in a fic )

OMG that was so cute and it really felt like the ranma and akane in the anime and manga...u really portrayed both characters perfectly with a sweet sense of romance between the two. Out of all the fanfics i would say that this is one of the best that i've read to far because most of the fanfics that i've read of ranma and akane have been exaggeratedly cheesy to the extent of making me want to puke or it was too unbelieveable even if it is a fanfic. but this one was PERFECT

I loved the whole idea of the story, and it was done very well, with the characters not out of their personalities one bit. Wonderful piece! ;D

I noticed that I never left a note on this one, even though I have this stored inside my PC, I saved it the moment I read it.

I think we all have something that drives us, the question is, are we aware of what it is? and most importantly... why?

There are small moments we have, where these things are displayed to us, in several different ways.

Maybe Hinako was there, when she had to be, to play her role in his life.

And the rain... Well the rain was just an extra, to give Ranma a small pat on the back and route him home.
