Glowstar826 chapter 5 . 6/20
If only Harry knew just how much pain Sirius actually caused Severus in the end...

This was a really good fic, and I love how you handled Snape’s character. I kinda feel bad for Lupin, though, because he’s a genuinely good person who just wants to help.
Mackenzie chapter 5 . 8/22/2018
You made me cry so hard. This made me so sad. The thought that Petsr betrayed them all long before he did... the helplessness that Severus felt... and it revived the sting of Sirius's death. No fanfiction that includes Sirius's death has ever made me feel it that much. No fan fiction has ever made me feel this strongly.
I sincerely congratulate you on your amazing writing skills.
RobinTheSlytherin chapter 1 . 8/9/2018
this was so hearted wrenching! I loved how canon you made this! I'd love to read more!
hule chapter 5 . 9/21/2014
That was brilliant.
riverrat chapter 5 . 6/18/2014
OMG, this story was to horrifyingly emotional. Poor Severus.
Great writing and it fits perfectly into the timeline of the books.
Athena Keating-Thomas chapter 5 . 12/27/2009
Wow, this was a powerfully written story, and was quite real in emotion. I only wish that Dumbledore and McGonnagal had taken a bit more action upon noticing that something was wrong...
lettuce chapter 5 . 9/26/2007
that was hard too read but very well done.
emptyword chapter 5 . 5/14/2007
Dear God. I have no idea how to respond. This has indeed been emotionally overwhelming, not the least of which is because you chose Snape of all characters. I have very little experience with the reality of what was explored here, and I freely admit I had some trouble relating directly, but the incontrollable rawness of everything shook me to the core. Written masterfully.
rouge jedi chapter 5 . 2/10/2007
that was frightening. It was amazing and sordid and accurate and horrifying and shocking and the adjectives go on.

Incredible
Jax Draconia chapter 5 . 1/20/2007
You are an amazing author, with the most authentic Snape I have been able to find thus far. This was a difficult story to read (and write), but you handled the sensitive subject wonderfully. Well done!
Rachael DuBois chapter 5 . 12/27/2006
I am shattered by this story. It is so hard to write a subplot and incorporate it into the canon story, and yet you have done that masterfully, especially in the first chapter. This was such a hard read, and I can't imagine how difficult it must have been to write. Beautifully done, sensitive management. Congratulations on all the wonderful reviews and praise you get for this story. It is well deserved.
Rulin chapter 5 . 12/4/2006
Wow. A really well written fic! I congratulate you muchly!
masami chapter 1 . 7/11/2006
Oh, this is excellent. Spot-on characterisation for both Black and Snape, and the tension is spot-on. Nasty subject, but wonderful.
Borolin chapter 5 . 4/18/2006
Although this is a harrowing read it deals seriously with a serious subject, and I've added it to my links page.
ShadowBallad chapter 5 . 3/7/2006
Wow. That was indeed an incredibly powerful, emotionally taxing story.

Being a student of psychology, Severus dealing with the after effects of...rape...and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder was interesting. Fascinating, if I might say so, but I do not mean it in a morbid way.

Very well-written, as well. The dramatic irony...the characters...everything said or written served a purpose. It all tied together so nicely; no thread of the plot out of place.

This might sound horrid, but a sequel...as emotionally difficult as it would be to write...in which Severus exacted complete revenge upon Pettigrew, might be interesting. Of course, for your sanity, it might not be reccommended. And it does leave some musing leeway to the readers' imagination.

All in all, a great angsty drama! These are incredibly hard to write, especially when dealing with such a delicate subject matter. But, you did a wonderful job of it.

Cheers,

Ballad
