GREAT! Wow powerful language. I love the way you view Chase as lost but not in some pitiable or pathetic way. He's still a strong character even with his broken parts. Nice stuff!

This story is absolutely amazing - the insight into Chase's character is brilliant. You're an excellent writer, I'm very impressed.

I'm not sure why but I was drawn to this section - it keeps ringing in my head. I'm not sure if it's because I can relate to it (not sure what that says to me). It's a powerful piece of truth.

You’re only at your best when you absolutely loathe something. There is no feeling more powerful than hate. It makes you tense, sharp, and has your mind screaming for truth. It makes you a good doctor, and not so much lousy at everything else, but not in a position to really appreciate it.

In-character Chase luff makes me happy. :D

This one made me th Chase. Because before, I kind of hated him, but when I read this I felt like I understood him more. You do a wonderful job of characterization.

Interesting. I think you captured Chase pretty accurately. "Mothers will love their sons, fathers will push or pull their sons a million different ugly directions, and all boys grow into men, but only some grow back into boys." - My favorite line.

I still haven't watched much of House yet because only some episodes have aired here, but this would be exactly I imagined the dark side of Chase would entail. Chase pissing off House with Cameron was very evocative and the Beowulf was quite the creative touch.

Ooh... the imagery is so powerful it gives me goosebumps! Love your approach... looking into Chase's darker side... That scene with Chase using Cameron to get to House is right on. Please, continue writing other pieces. Will you do Foreman someday?
