I just loved this story. There's a beautiful, subtle parallel between the old raven and House, who so rarely openly acknowledges the depth of the friendship he has with Wilson.

You do excellent work - great spot-on characterizations and fluid, intelligent writing. I realized after I read this that you'd also written Topography and Carrot or Stick?, which are also just fabulous stories. Bravo!
