I like (not like-like, just like - your know what I mean) the way Willy Wonka is just so 'oh well' about it. It's just something he would do, and no-one else would.

I love your story! everyone was perfectly in character and Wonka's ignorance to how Charlie is feeling is very nice.

If this story was longer i'd be picturing this...

As the leukemia progresses Wonka is now confined to a germ safe location because the leukemia has destroyed his immune system. Then he discovers that you can get a bone marrow transplant to possible put the leukemia in remission. They do the transplant (which hurts like hell) and the stress put on Wonka from the pain kills Wonka (can happen(not before Wonka gets to say some last words)).

That's just my vision.. I wish you'd continue with this no matter how it ends!

Hey Salienne! Second story of yours I've read. Very well done *applauds* Even though I did not see the Johnny-Depp version of CatCF, I saw the original. Therefore I still understood it. I have to say the description of the room was excellent. Very nice touch. I agree with your fellow reviewers when I say please, give us another chapter!

I'm aware that you said this was a one-shot, but I must agree with some of the other reviewers: It would be marvelous to see another chapter with Wonka's death. Your writing ability is superb, so I would very much like to see you write another chapter, if it is possible to convince you.

Everyone was in character, and I especially liked Wonka's denial: "Well, that elevator of his, it did toss him around quite a bit." It's a mirror to what many of us do in our own lives; we deny, deny, deny, until we cannot deny any longer.

You are indeed a fine author. I enjoyed this fic very much (and I hope greatly that you will extend it!).
