I had a pleasant time reading this hidden gem! I normally can't tolerate OCs that much but I absolutely love Sara's character. Sara's aloof personality and realistic way of thinking makes me empathize with her so much. It's so refreshing to have Sara be the polar opposite of Wonka and in that way they surprisingly complement each other. She's so different from the OCs I've read in other Catcf stories which makes her so damn unique and human.

The first chapter was intriguing that it immediately got me hooked. Wonka's portrayal in the story is absolutely phenomenal, a perfect balance between his child-like personality and mature side. Sara and Wonka's relationship got me squealing and rooting for them all throughout. I gotta admit this is got to be my favorite Catcf story in this site! Storyline wasn't dragging and the relationship doesn't feel forced at all. Wish this was longer though, I would have loved to read more of their couple dynamics and fluffy moments.

Hello, I was playing the 'follow the favourites of my favourites' game out of the FFVII section (in which, by the way I much enjoyed your work and really must go back and review at least something), when I found this unexpected little gem.

I enjoyed this. You didn't fall into the usual traps of bringing in a new character; out-of-character puppeteering or mis-balancing with the originals, over explanation (and description) - I particularly liked the way you just wrote Sara in as if she had always been there, and did like Sara herself.

Wonka was nicely done too, with that straightforwardness that looks so peculiar from the outside, but makes perfect sense to him, given his quirky mismash of ignorance, knowledge, naivete and the surreal skew of the world he lives in. I actively liked them together.

I just wanted to say that this fic was wonderful. I only wish it had been longer (but I'm partial to novel length fics myself). I LOVE the thoughfulness you put into what each of them were thinking when they touched.. like Willy desiding he liked puting his arm on her waist..etc. I'm just writing you today to plead for you to consider writing more Depp-W.W. romance fanfiction. There are so few out there so I'm relying on the really good authors to write more! Okay.. its more of a secret hope but whatever. Thanks for being awesome enough to write this fic!

This makes me chuckle. You see, I have a fic with a character named Sarah (with an h, though) Bucket, only she is the rather insane aunt of Charlie, and not nearly as developed as yours. (If I may add, it appears you develop your story in general far better than a lot of other writers. Do you do a lot of writing other than or are you just naturally good?) Anyway, when I saw the summary I thought I might take a look just to see what it was like. A cripple, and terribly... maybe shrew-like is too harsh of a word. Grown- up, perhaps. It's so deliciously original; that's what I like to read. I'm sad that I could not have read this story earlier, so that I could have followed along with it as you wrote, because it is indeed a very good story. I hope to see more of your works!
