Rookblonkorules chapter 1 . 2/4/2019 This was a great opening chapter! It was a little confusing and I was a little overwhelmed by the influx of characters, but that's probably because it's late and I'm tired. I've no doubt all these fellows will grow on me as well, considering how much I adore Rancil and Lalaithien from your other story. |
world-classgeek chapter 11 . 4/25/2014 I don't know if you'll get this or not, since this story is nearly a decade old, but I just wanted to comment. I am enjoying this story immensely and wanted to ask if that one odd elf, whatshisname, something that starts with an A, a captain, if he was inspired by the hares of Salamandastron? |
Ireland Ranger chapter 21 . 3/9/2013 LOVE IT! |
Ireland Ranger chapter 1 . 3/8/2013 Haldir is now my new best friend XD just a random statement! |
alexiana75 chapter 1 . 12/3/2012 Interesting beginning. |
KsandraMallan chapter 12 . 5/1/2012 Alfirin reminds me of the hares from Redwall... XD I love his speech. |
teenelizabeth chapter 8 . 2/22/2008 Poor little Rúmil. He definitely wasn't cut out to be a soldier; he's too compassionate! ( -Christine |
teenelizabeth chapter 4 . 2/17/2008 Un petit question pour toi: So Haldir is the oldest of the brothers, followed by Orophin and Rúmil, correct? -Christine |
teenelizabeth chapter 3 . 2/17/2008 If I fail my geology course, I choose to blame you because I am reading your wonderful story instead of writing a paper on William "Strata" Smith. Haldir's misadventures are much more exciting than some dead guy who discovered layers in rocks. P -Christine |
teenelizabeth chapter 1 . 2/16/2008 Aw, poor Haldir is having a horrible time of it, isn't he? Why don't you give him to me for a while, I'll take care of him. *grins mischievously* -Christine |
Analorien chapter 20 . 12/20/2007 Wow. That seems to be the only word I use with your reviews! This was such a seamless transition from one story to the next... I think that would be hard to do! Hm... what did I like? Your use of imagery to set the scenes, I think. Desperate need of correction? Nothing. I have some little skill in proofreading and editing; you don't have many "errors" at all. Punctuation and grammar are good. Comma usage, a bugaboo for all of us, is good. All I can say is "wow," again, and hannon le. |
the black leopard chapter 21 . 9/9/2007 Thank you for writing such an engaging and complete story. I've spent the majority of the day camped out in front of the computer hanging on to your every word. Not only is this story so well written, but also there are no glaringly obvious grammatical or spelling errors, which most authors have quite a few issues with. I have loved reading this story, I’m looking forward to reading your other stories and hope that I can enjoy them just as much as I have this one. Your story reads as a novel, and I can’t wait to see if the others are just as well written. Thank you again, and congratulations on writing such an excellent story. |
Ponytail Goddess chapter 21 . 7/28/2007 Actually, I do have one question. I think in one of the chapters Haldir wrote two letters and stored them away, hoping he would not have to send them. What was that all about and who were the letters to? Orophin and Rumil? I just kinda want to know what was up with that. Thanks. -P.G. |
Ponytail Goddess chapter 20 . 7/28/2007 I love this last chapter so, so much! This is probably my favorite of your stories that I have read because of the great moral decisions that all of the characters had to make. It was very interesting and quite well-written. Though I like to see a funny Rumil story on occasion, it's nice to see him written in a serious light. Plus, Haldir's respect for his captain in Agwaren makes so much more sense now, as well as Fedorian's future crimes. Great fic, as always! -P.G. |
Ponytail Goddess chapter 18 . 7/28/2007 OMG! |
