malugargula chapter 4 . 12/29/2012 What an amazing fic. I really hope you write a epilogue or second version of the ending sometime I'm always a sucker for happy endings ;) |
Trinity23Rose chapter 3 . 7/7/2012 one more left and you didn't write this?:( |
Kitoky chapter 4 . 8/23/2006 Argh. I love you like you would NOT believe. This fic is just absolutely, beautifully, perfectly written to its core. The Chloe Sullivan in the fic was like the one in the series (except with Lex), and I think you took it to a whole different level, it's just so perfect. And being it with Lex and Bruce and not even a mention of Clark's name was just a friggin 100 plus bonus points. Lex was profoundly written, but something's missing in his charisma and mysterious edge. Something... I can't put my finger on it. And open for an epilogue for another version - dude that's killing me. Please write more! [begs like a puppy dog] |
kitto27 chapter 4 . 6/17/2006 absolutely gorgeous. |
seghen chapter 4 . 3/14/2006 i really enjoyed this, very beautiful. i hope that u do write an epilogue. |
Abvj chapter 4 . 8/7/2005 I certainly can't complain about the not-so-happy ending because I have written plenty of fics that didn't end on a light note. And while I wish Lex and Chloe would have rode off into the sunset on a white horse, well, I'd be kidding myself wouldn't I? First of all, Chloe would want her own horse, and secondly, she independent more than anything else, and it is good that she realizes that now. She thought she needed Lex and Bruce and she doesn't. That'll be what I take with me from this story... it was achingly beautiful and wonderfully written. Truly, just amazing. The Lana stuff in the beginning made me feel for her, but I realized, who was she trying to kid? "Sighing, Bruce rose from his seat and met Lex's burning look with his own. "Because neither of us loved her enough for her to stay," Great line for a great written Bruce. Perfect. My heart just broke at that, which I suppose you were trying to do, huh? I'm all for a continuation, or an epilogue... Please? Great story! |
meeaz chapter 4 . 8/7/2005 although i would love a happy ending, i feel that this story is perfectly fine as it was left. chloe deserves to have done exactly what she did, as those two men don't deserve her. one didn't love her enough to leave behind the 'perfect' girlfriend and the other only dated her to use her against the man she loved. i'm a sucker for happy endings, but this i think, is just fine. anyways, this was a great read. please start something else soon. xoxo, meeaz. |
Allison chapter 3 . 8/4/2005 Wow, reading this is like a stab to the gut. A beautiful slick, oh it huts so good, stab to the gut. Part of me holds out hope for a happy ending, the other... Hurts. So. Good. |
Abvj chapter 3 . 8/4/2005 There was something about the way you wrote the eventual confrontation that made me get ridiculously excited that maybe Lex was just going to throw all caution to the wind and kiss her. Of course he didn't, which is just fine considering this chapter was wonderfully written, and the angst was perfectly delievered. Lana is such a minor character in a respect, but she is really starting to get on my nerves (not a surprise, really). The confetti moment was a nice touch (as I said before) and I really liked the hint of bruce's smugness that you put in there. Typical bruce in this very wonderfully played situation. "Autumn ushers in contemplation of all the days gone past, as the leaves turn from a soft emerald of comfort to an alarming crimson regret." Great way to end this installment, I'll be waiting for the next update... but I will be sad when this over. Beautiful update. |
meeaz chapter 3 . 8/4/2005 can't wait for the next part. i loved this one too-such angst *le sigh*. more soon, please. xoxo, meeaz. |
meeaz chapter 2 . 8/3/2005 argh, stupid lana for lying to lex. thsi was great. can't wait to read some more (hint hint) and see where you take this. more soon, please. xoxo, meeaz. |
meeaz chapter 1 . 8/3/2005 this is a great start-so intense and emotion packed. is this going to be chlex eventually or not? either way, it's great! more soon, please. xoxo, meeaz. |
Abvj chapter 2 . 8/2/2005 *jumps up and down* I was waiting for you to bring Bruce into the mix... and even more importantly I was desperate to see how you would write him. It's a peeve of mine to see authors writing both Lex and Bruce as best friends because I have just never seen them as that. You don't write them as enemies per se, but you definitely have that love to hate each other relationship going that I've always looked for. It intrigued me that Lana didn't tell Lex about the phone call... and even more so that Bruce is seeking Chloe out for bad reasons... I have a feeling that it will create mucho tension between the two when she figures it out. She will right? "Burrowing deeper into her covers to find the warmth she left behind in Kansas, she is left alone with her thoughts as night moves around her." Not exactly sure but that was written perfectly and really pulled me into what Chloe was thinking and how she was feeling. Update ASAP. I am loving this story! |
Abvj chapter 1 . 8/1/2005 Smallville had been by addiction for so long and had slowly been fading into the background. However, after seeing this new story by an old pro like yourself, I couldn't help myself- I had to read. You twist words so wonderfully and beautifully and you write Chlex like no other. Fluffy romantic stories are always great, but there is just something to be said for heart wrentching, hit-you-close-to-home fics. I identify with your Chloe and understand her motives and choice to move. I'm hooked, and sticking with this for the long haul. Update soon, I beg of you. |
