Hi! I found the story very entertaining but I dislike the change you brought to the characters. Diego always figures something out to get himself out of trouble. Victoria, even if she loves Zorro feels a different kind of love towards Diego, a thing that did not resonate in the first part and Don Alejandro would never react as you made him react. Not to mention the sudden knowledge of Jim's feelings of Victoria twds Zorro.

Zorro - Robinson - cool variation ;p In reality there could be an easier way to gain water for him. Digging the hole, put on bottom half coconut/dish and make a funnel from material or palm leaves. A morning dew accumulate on material and fall into dish. But I understand that this way, Diego cannot drink unsafe water.

And I like manner You describe wedding. In the middle of the picture there is the gallow, and wedding is in conjecture. Like in movie script :D

I've read three stories along these lines lately, but I must say, this is by far the best. Characterization is spot on, writing is flawless, the plot is realistic and believable... what else could a reader want? Well, maybe including Felipe a bit more, but that's my only little quibble with this story.

Nevertheless, thank you for a great read!

I read this story, loved it and came back to favorite it and leave my two cents.

I like how you portrayed Victoria, if memory serves correct she annoyed me a bit in the show, but the way you wrote it makes my memory grow fonder. Also I like that you added humor to the drama, because too much angst is plainly annoying.

Oh, I also like that you didn't go into in depth descriptions of every scrape and twist and bruise Diego has, because a medical listing often turns me off too.

So - basically I loved your story, it was easy to read and now I've highlighted the things I liked. Thanks for writing it ;)

I'm going to have to agree with thethirdtroll on this one though. You are evil. Not to your readers, but to Diego. After all he went through, you had the nerve to give the poor guy coconut creme pie! ::shakes head:: For shame!

LOL! Of course. It has to be coconut cream pie. But what happened with the Alcalde and Diego? Did he give up or did he eventually realize that Diego was Zorro and that he had been tricked? Do the caballeros start standing up for the pueblo or do they still depend on Zorro. Come now you have to write more. This just isnt enough. Write more. Evil, that is what you are being. More so than usual too. Evil. I must go. Its my new bed time. Ta.

Hmm, interesting. Big Jim's idea will work beautifully now, if only Diego doesn't do something too rash. He'll certainly be present for "Zorro's" reappearance, but it'll do him no good if he confesses beforehand...Tricky, tricky. You write so well! Things just keep getting more and more complicated.
