I loved it. The ending was great and brought closure for Amanda and Brad

I'm sad to see Lee like this, but also to know that he hasn't forgotten Amanda and is taking care of her son is something that would make her happy. I hope Francine finds her and she gets her memory back. Brad sounds nice, but he is not Lee and she deserves to be back home with her husband

Very interesting, though I wonder if it will be explained why she choose Mandy since Eva was the one who called her that & I thought it was awful (not the name, just the way Ava said it) not respecting Amanda

This was excellent. True to the characters -and the spirit of the show, it had just the right mix of personal conflicts and challenges merged with a solid, overall case storyline. I liked Francine's portrayal very much. It showed her as a supportive and professional colleague -and friend, having matured enough to own her frustrations with both herself and others and accept them. Lee -and Amanda were spot on. Their voices rang true in their dialogue -and Amanda is not easy to write, especially with her tendency to ramble! They boys were finally developed into full and well rounded characters in their own right, rather than being relegated to the background as they were in the show. And Dottie came in with just the right touch of grace, strength and determination. Loved it. This is definitely going into my top 10 of all fanfic.

Must admit I'm with Dr. Smyth (a first!) that Mavis Marston does not deserve a deal.

Dotty did some mighty fine 'splainin' to Dr. Brad so he's not making a fuss. Hopefully the right lady will come along soon for him.

It's a painful road, but worthwhile six months later when you look back. Get the anesthesiologist to inject a 24-hour nerve block into the newly-replaced knee to get a good night's sleep before the painful P/T begins.

So pleased Mrs. Johnstone's info was spot on and all the evil Brimstone goons were picked up.

Phillip reached out to Lee and they had an open and productive conversation. Phillip even apologized and was shocked his mother, whose memory was restored, had yet to visit and give Lee that news. Dotty took charge of Dr. Brad when he tried to visit Annie so she's sure to give him the lay of the land. Go back to Michigan and take your pick of the Taney twins, Dr. Brad.

Lee tried to brace himself for Amanda's rejection since she left him for dead last on her rounds, but they came to a meeting of the lips and are presently falling asleep in each other's arms to:

"At last my love has come along My lonely days are over and life is like a song, ...
You smiled, you smiled oh and then the spell was cast
And here we are in Heaven for you are mine at last!

Well, Amanda if (as you imply in conversation with Dotty) you make the cowardly, foolish, ill-fated, wrong decision to divorce Lee and marry Dr. Brad; then you are entirely too cruel, viciously heartless and dangerously lacking in good judgement to be considered qualified to raise a child. You must give Lee custody of Annie or you will find yourself convicted of pre-meditated murder by a jury of your peers because Lee will have died from a broken heart at your hand. Please reconsider!

A laugh in the midst of tension: Billy threatened Francine with a 50% reduction in her clothing allowance if Amanda did not stay put.

Hallelujah Phillip is out of the building and they all know a bomb is set to explode. Finally, Lee appears with deadweight Jamie and Annie; oh crap, revived monster goon is taking aim.

Billy should have investigated whether Mrs. Marston was their mole, immediately; for some reason he didn't, but Dr. Smyth did. He's redeeming himself now with Amanda and not opposing Lee taking charge of the rescue.

Lee neutralized monster goon, found where the kids were held and deduced that Jamie picked the lock. We know there's two baddies still at-large: evil birthmark dude and monster goon's evil mother. The suspense is intense since Phillip's on his own, Jamie's not conscious and Annie is a frightened, hungry 4-year old.

Mavis Marston, you are a sorry excuse for a human being; even pond scum has more redeeming qualities! Spitting in the face of the man who kept you employed. Handing over Amanda's file causing bodily harm. Breaking apart a fledgling family causing mental and emotional anguish. What you did relegated Dotty, Lee, Phillip, Jamie and Amanda to five years; that's 60 months ... 1,815 days and nights of living hell. Plus, the explosives and mind-altering drugs that put Amanda and unborn Annie's very lives in jeopardy. The extraordinary cruelty of what you did to six human beings, who btw never harmed you or your son, is unforgivable. Death is too kind for you! Maybe watching your son slowly tortured to death by flesh-eating insects would give you a glimpse of the horror you wielded against six fellow human beings; then again, what you perpetrated brings into question your eligibility to even be labeled "human being." You better pray the mission to rescue those three children alive is successful and no Agency operative is killed so your punishment, depicted above, isn't quintupled.
