I'm rereading this again, it's so perfect

This story is awesome and one of my favorite wicked fics. I'm sorry you haven't updated in so long I hope everything is alright. The details you weave into this story are amazing. I love your characterization of Dorothy. She is sweet and innocent and just such a pure character but you also made her curious, inquisitive, and intelligent which gave her a strength and depth. All the scenes where you have Dorothy and Elphaba interact are really well done. Elphaba stays very in character for the musical while still being at least partly the wicked witch from the movie the blend was well done. I especially liked the scene where Dorothy almost reaches out to take Elphaba's hand, the way that that was mirrored in the interaction between Elphaba and Galinda is beautiful. The way you changed the melting scene was also great. You inspired a sense of horror and realism that was lacking in that scene in the movie. You really captured Elphaba's despair and harmlessness against the mob along with Dorothy's horror at seeing it. I have really enjoyed your story and hope that all is well with you.

Very cool so far, but a bit distressing in that it hasn't been updated in so long, particularly when one considers the insinuations in the author's notes that the next chapter has already been written, as it was originally a part of an extraordinarily long chapter which you have segmented.

I regret that you never finished this. I am super impressed by this story. All your homework and details just shine through. Very impressed. I wish I would get to see the end, to see if Dorothy every makes peace with Miss Gulch. Someday, please return to this story and finish it.

Glinda lips turned up, not prettily. It seemed she could almost hear the voice of her dead friend in her mind, adding biting commentary to this most interesting of situations—a situation that went to prove that life did indeed have a sense of humor.

Then she realized that the voice hadn’t been Elphaba’s. It was her own, and out loud.

I loved that. I wonder what will happen next!

This is so sad, but good, and we all wanted Dorothy to learn about Elphaba.
