I feel you Illumi. Social situations make no sense! And high heels suck! Good thing Hisoka was there to make it interesting. Hisoka’s awful, but he’ such a fun character, and he’s always good with Illumi. You’ve gotten into Illumi’s head really well.

Amazing. Both characters are written superbly, and even without sex it was still hot ;)

Really love the interaction between the two here. It's wasn't overdone. Kudos for writing this lovely fic.

Eccentric fic, eccentric characters! Fantastic! I (uncharacteristically) enjoyed the sour ending. Illumi is just so dispassionate. I also wondered whether he just 'manipulated' people into believing this side of him, and actually getting a kick out of playing mind games, or something of that sort. But your fic protrayed him as truly having ice in his veins :D :P But knowing Hisoka, he'll keep trying (endlessly) to bring out the life in Illu-chan. Right?

Bittersweet romance.

My favourite part was the Illumi relaxing part (not used to seeing this coddled side of Illumi... harharhar) and the dancing! Very subtle and teasing :D And reminds me of how Illumi danced in the "Nightmare of Zoldyk" musical (so stunning :D I love the musical Illumi~~)

You better write more, cause you're good :D P Hopefully you're still into HxH. If not, then thank you for having awakened the HisoIllu fandom in me D(Hiso-grin?) ...YAY!

What an incredibly HOT pairing. This is my first time reading a HisokaxIllumi fic, and I must say I wasn't disappointed. Your fic certianly delivers, and then some. I love Hisoka's mind games and Illumi's apathy to it all.

This is very well written. You did well with the psychology of the characters, this is SO Hisoka. I like the "unhappy" ending, too

love this. ive been trying to find hisokaxillumi fics here and there but they are scant. love how you portray hisoka's struggle-well too bad for him illumi is just too apathetic. was illumi kissing hisoka back there in the cab?i love illumi he's such a cute character (weird description, i know) and i love pairing him with the their weirdness compliments them. i hope you make more hisokaxillumi fics. i'll be waiting.

I, I really love you right now. I'm not exactly coherent either, but that's not what matters. Your fic was awesome. Your Illumi introspective and take on the relationship between him and Hisoka was spot on. I loved the "walking on tip-toes" feeling I got while reading through this. Hello. I love you so much.

Wah~ I really really liked it! The perspective does get a bit weird on some parts of the story, though... but maybe it's just me and lack of sleep.

I liked the concept so much... the Zaoldyke (or however you spell it) boys being dressed as girls, where even Karuto's a boy! Even with the twist the story manages to be familiar yet not too predictable.

*sighs* hoped it could be a lemon though *Hisoka grin*

it's so noir,... with barely any action but still managing to be so dramatic. Here though, it sounds as if Illumi is just really tired. - It's rare, but he's definitely capable of being less apathetic.

Otherwise, I like your style.

E! Hisoka/Illumi! Oh, I love you! This is absolutely my favorite pairing, and they are SO a couple despite their issues and their separate lives and their insanity, they just WORK. This is so well done, you capture them very well, especially the part about Illumi not bothering to fight Hisoka when it comes to sex. I've always figured that's the way it is, it's just not important enough to him to be worth it.

I'm still sure their sex is incredible though. ;)

Wonderful, if I may say so. There's just something about how the two tip-toes on the edge of everything, always implying but not saying, that makes this pairing so addictive. And you did a brilliant job of hinting. Again, wonderful piece of work.
