Okay, first let me say how ever grateful I am to you. I think this story was the first (or one of the first) Newsie fics that I ever read after I became obsessed with Newsies a year or so back. I read it and I thought it was the end all be all of Newsie fics it was that damn good. So, I decided that I could try my hand at writing my own fics. Huh-uh. I hadn't had experience as a writer and the only plot that I could come up with using was your's. Seriously, I would call up a blank document on the screen and was writing your story but just changing some of the diologue around a bit. Well, of course ideas came to me eventually and I have written numerous other fics (don't worry, I never copied this fic!)I had put you on my favorite's list and forgotten all about this story until now. It was absolutely wonderful to read it over again. What I am so not gracefully trying to say is that you introduced me to the world of newsie fics, whether you may care or not, I just thought I should tell you. This will remain one of the best because it is the first I ever read. :)

Great story. It has wonderful plot twists so you never know what is going to happen next. Very well written piece of work.
