The UK doesn't even let their police officers have guns. They're also on an island, so someone sneaking a gun in isn't exactly likely.

Beyond that one inconsistentsy this is really good.

What an excellent fic! Some of the attempts (ninja) were a bit outlandish, but all in all, this was really well done. I like how cunning your Voldemort is. Considering he grew up in a Muggle orphanage, I can see him trying to combine magical and Muggle methods of killing - ironic, really, when he's trying to wipe out all the Muggles. I loved Lupin, the Grangers, and Hermione in this, the Weasleys were supportive as ever. Everyone was very in-character. My only qualms are that Harry continuously survived at the end (pretty strong blood protection, eh?) and I doubt Voldemort would have thrown Harry off a cliff, which would have given him a chance at escape. Great story!

The gunman is a sad example of a failed money society using fiat dollars with no value behind them and a broken capitalist system that anybody who tries to fix it acts as if they have been oblivated.

Selling bad drills is NOT good. In a way I don't blame him (the gunman) for the way he reacted one bit. I blame the failure of society for allowing corrupt businesses to go unchecked and not enough government regulation to ensure businesses provide good products.

I just want to point out it would not end afte the hospital. Harry would have to go thru physical therapy to be able to move again freely and it would be along process.

Sorry that real life isn't like liberal elite Hollywood where everything is magically fixed for you.

Good fic. I just wish Harry would stop crying about his problems and try to do something about it. he knew voldemort was after him years ago so why did he not learn i understand he has a hard time but it will only get worse and if he does not do anything about it it will never get better.

Honestly, this is a great piece. One of the most original Harry Potter fanfictions I've ever read. The characters stayed true, and the Voldemort/Harry/Dursley situation was neither underplayed nor overplayed.
