Xoria chapter 1 . 10/28/2012 Wow, nice way of writing, I love how you portrayed Medusa. Too many stories show her as evil. |
sickofmylifex526 chapter 1 . 1/2/2012 This oneshot made me shed a tear or two when I first read it; it's just beautifully written and the flow of it. Your idea of a heroine-Medusa is amazing. |
Zhenzhen87 chapter 1 . 12/11/2011 i loved how you made medusa a good person in this oneshot |
Kuvino chapter 1 . 6/26/2011 This is a very well written story (although all of your stories that I have read are as well) and I enjoyed it very much. I really liked reading this version of the story and I thought it was very intriguing. I never knew that Pegasus was Medusa's son-of-sorts. The only thing I noticed was that you mentioned Athena as Posiedon's sister. Since she is technically Zeus's daughter, wouldn't she be his niece? Just a thought. |
Queen of Tortall chapter 1 . 8/3/2010 That was an amazing story! Poor Medusa. You really brought her to life though, and I can totally imagine Echidna being disgusted at her non-monster daughter. Great job! |
the 85th writer chapter 1 . 4/2/2009 Very, very interesting take. I've always liked Medusa, and I like what you have given her here. |
Sir Spamalot chapter 1 . 5/7/2008 Wow... I want to say somthing about how great this is but it's so..good. All i have to say is wow. :) |
Guest chapter 1 . 12/21/2007 So I know you posted this ages ago but I never really read it. Till today. I admit that the motivation was slightly selfish. I started my Pandora story and wanted to see how someone else had made a myth her own. I almost don't want to do my story now. Because as much as try not to compare my work to any one else's, inevitably I do. I don't know if I can write anything this good. I love this. Your Medusa is just amazing. I love that she begins as this sweet child-like woman who just enjoys the beauty of the world and all that's in better though is the 'adult' woman who knows guilt, knows sadness, a woman who is no longer so innocent in her view of the world.A woman who despite her bad lot in life, doesn't want to hurt anyone and feels for those foolish enough to wander upon her island. I love the Gorgons as well. Her sisters who protect her with a fierceness born from duty and apparentally nothing more.I love her mother, who couldn't love the beautiful girl but approves of the monster she is transformed to. And Perseus, who for a moment doesn't seem able to kill the girl, who truly did nothing wrong. A hero feeling a bit of grief and maybe pity for his victim. Your Medusa is a victim of did nothing just happened to beat out a pretty girl with a jealous heart.A pretty girl with ties to a goddess. So now I'm going to go toil away on my Pandora story...hopefully it will be half as awesome as this is. |
Morgomir chapter 1 . 8/29/2007 This story is amazingly well written. Keep up the great work. |
Svadilfari chapter 1 . 5/2/2007 This is an amazingly written piece. It has depth, fortitude and feeling. You allow the reader to feel for all, show in the truest manner of all Greek writers that both the Gods and mortal are fallible. Your descriptions colour the story before the reader's eyes and truly it was such a joy to read this. Thanks so much for posting this. It is very rare to find such good writing these days in |
