Daaaamn, I remember reading this years ago, wow how time has flown by. No matter what your opinions are on this story it will always hold a special place in my heart, as a story I was so excited to read and see that you were re-writing, and while it may have never been completed, I loved it all the same. I was just suddenly struck by nostalgia and went and dug it back up out of curiosity, wow, it felt so much long at the time, guess 80k words WAS insanely long for the little me who was oh so new to fanfiction.

Just a comment to say that some things, even if you may not have liked them, were loved by others and ARE still loved, and it is so appreciated that you leave these stories up. There are some stories I read years ago that I can no long find and it hurts a part of me inside, to know that those writings have been lost to time when I loved them so much at the time, even if in retrospect they weren't very good. It's so nice to see little bits of my own personal fanfic past still hanging around, even if I know they'll never be expanded upon and are just that, the past. It's nice to reminisce, and I will ALWAYS treasure the ones that still remain.

Thank you for writing something that I loved so dearly, and, at least for the time frame in which I first read it, left such an impact on me I can remember weeks going by where it was the main thing I thought about in my free time. So, thank you. :)

This was definitely a good chapter, you really know how to make this story interesting.

I think its kinda cute that Angemon and Vamdemon bicker like an old married couple, and I was laughing so hard I started crying when the others people at the beach started eyeing him, what a lovely scene.

The good things I liked

1) You have an intriguing premise. I want to see the Chosen Children beat the bad guy, want to see Vamdemon become a Digimon again, and see Vamdemon and Angemon fall in love.

2) I'm enjoying how you use dialogue. You are one of the stronger dialogue writers I've run into. I like how you do character dialogue, reactions and emotion.

3) You are using original characters, but they are used conservatively and don't feel like Mary Sues. It is refreshing to find original Digidestined stories without them being Mary Sueish or having no personality.

The things I do not like so much

1) The out of characterness in your story is taking some getting used to. After all the damage that he has done, I don't see Vamdemon as the type to go soft, start cutting himself or for the Chosen Children to forgive him that easily. I can't see Angemon letting his guard down or Tailmon and the others consenting so easily to be trained by Vamdemon after the cruelty he put Tailmon through. I would love to see at some point in future chapters you give Vamdemon more of a backbone or have the Chosen Children and their Digimon face some of the things he has done to them in the past.

Keep up the writing and I will keep up the reading.

Wow. Wonderful story. I generally don't approve of homosexual relationships, but my policy has always been for the author to sell me the idea, and I have to say that you did so very well. The interaction between Vamdemon and the others, especially, Hikari, Gatomon, and Angemon, were done really well.

Also, the plot twist was done very well, and in ways that didn't make things too OOC. In fact, you tied everything together very nicely. I like the way the stories flows.

In terms of improvements, I did see several mechanical errors here and there (not many).

Overall, however, your sense of aethstetics is really nice, and this is a really well-written story.

...you might want to take off the "completed" designation until you actually complete it though...

All right. I, this person here, have a confession to make. I have not read this chapter. Nor have I read any chapter since the last one I reviewed. I'm very sorry, you really are a good writer, but I can't read slash fics, especially when they unexpectedly don't go they way I thought they were gonna go. That probably made no sense, but if it did... yeah.
