That was nice. Perhaps a little too long, but nice. The line about people meaning more to you than you do to them was the staple of the story. Thank you for making me think.

Poor Tails... I just can't believe Sonic would forget about him. I don't think he did. This is a really good story, very good.

This is a great chapter! Not many authors use the SatAM universe and if they do; they bash Sally's character very badly. You have gotten Tails' innocense exactly right. I hope you do more with Tails-centered stories since he too is my favorite character. Look forward for more in the SatAM universe!

Wow... this is really different.

Just like I did in my last story, "The Prodigal Soldier", we see that there can often be sides to these characters both good and bad that are just begging to be explored. In a lot of cases, we've gotten so comfortable with what exists now that it's too much of a shakeup to change our perspectives of these guys.

I'm in agreement with everyone here. I feel bad for Tails to be in this place, yet he stayed true to his beliefs and what makes him happy. At the same time, what in the world is Sonic really doing that everyone else seems to have been shut out? (I suddenly feel like finishing that editorial now...)

Wow. This is a very deep piece Pain of Tails not seeing Sonic for awhile really stands out and grabs you at the heart. Make some more Sonic stuff.
