You write so well. I've read about Andromache's reaction to Hector's death before, but the approach you took this was different, delightfully so. I like how you included little Astyanax as well. Thanks for writing.

Oh my gods. You actually made me cry! Not just from the story but it made me think of death of family and friends. I think that means you wrote the story real well if you fill people with emotion. Good job!

This reminds me (albeit on a much grander scale) of a story I just read about (Lost's) Charlie & Claire & her baby Aaron. He started crying when Charlie died. I agree with you about Hector; he was truly noble & good. She was lucky that her arranged marriage turned out to be happy. It's a good thing she doesn't know the fate to come to her son.

No...that director knew this about...this much () about mythology. It was a good movie though, no matter how inaccurate...Anyway, awesome fic. The only thing that makes this fic even sadder, is that in original mythology, her son was ripped from her arms, and hurled from Troy's smoldering walls, while she was taken off with the rest of the women of Troy to be slaves...depressin ain't it?

That was beautiful. You portrayed Andromache's angst perfectly, and her grief was painful. Very well-written! I like it a lot, and I'd love to see more Troy stuff from you. Favorites list, right now.
