This was a beautifully written story.

That was such a lovely story- I really like your voice. :) Your use of sexual tension was perfect throughout story - the nerve-wracking and heart-pounding lead up to the climactic revelation of the true identity of her upstairs neighbor was page-turning - indeed, one of my favorite chapters was where he kept up the ruse, playing the sickly old man and telling her to come back in the morning, and she broke through the door to see him! lol I loved that moment and both their reactions upon seeing each other. I literally gave a cheer and pumped my fist in the air at Christine's newfound strength of mind and character to do that - determined and fierce - and really enjoyed the turnaround of their roles at moments like this, only to see Erik again gain the upper hand, only to have Christine wrench it back and powerful Erik at a loss as to her new maturity in their tense back and forth vocal foreplay. ;-) It made them equals, their union perfect as soul mates. Your characters felt so true-to-life, flawed but desirable, and I loved the slow growth you showed in both of them, with the hint that it would continue. Another favorite chapter was when Christine finally gave in to her heart after they were married and showed him her love. The intimacy between them was very well written. Brava.

I love it when Christine comes into conflict with the part of her that wants sex for sex's sake, and the part of her that abhors it. She will get over it eventually, won't she? All that Catholic teaching must have screwed her head. It's interesting, though; i think she'slowly gettng in touch with her inner Woman. ;-)
