And a very creative spin on the old betting the rations storyline. The glowing roof was a great idea, and I loved all the little moments of humour.

Hi. Just read your story - which has a brilliant plot line. Unfortunately, my enjoyment of the story was ruined because I read the exact same story with the same plotline and virtually the same text, word for word, the other day in the Stargate Atlantis section by an author called 'evil superman' under the title 'They're What!'. Just thought that you should know - seeing as that story was published after yours, I'm assuming that yours is the original.
