I have lived this story from start to finish. I enjoyed your darker and wilder side of Buffy they isn't normally evoked in the Buffy fanfic world. I enjoyed them going from acquaintes to friends to lovers. And thank goodness Buffy doesn't have to go back to hee wretched aunt and uncle's home again and be corrupted by faiths negative influence. They're just from two different worlds now Buffy and Spike changed and challenged each other for the better. Buffy found her home in the form of Giles Manor. I also love that they made arrangements for Drusilla to stay with them and have care provided for her. They way she can regularly see Spike and Buffy. And we even got a proposal for Buffy and sound like in the end. I couldn't have asked for a better ending.

Your Drusilla is so sweet and kind, the anthesis of Canon Drusilla. That's why I love your Dru. I also love they she's such a spuffy shipper. I also love how perceptive she is about Spike and Buffy. Now let's just hope Spike and Buffy realize they're feelings for each other soon, rather than run away from them. They're getting close to finally being in they place I'm sure

I'm glad Giles talked done sense into Spike. It looks like he put two and two together about Buffy's question to him earlier and figured out who she was referring to. About time Spike fought for her. Buffy I think it's just familiar with Faith and Angel, so she pretends to be like them, but really she's changed because of Spike. Spike offers her something real and tangible. Hopefully he's not too late and can work things out with Buffy. Even faith seems to recognize how Spike has changed Buffy for the better and send to approve. I think she's recognized her and Buffy have two seperate lives now.

I have to agree with you. There is no fun in constant fluff. I don't mind a little fluff and a happy ending, but I like fics they contain angst too. It makes the happy ending worth it in the end. It makes the happy ending more satisfying when you have any obstacle for them to overcome.

It seems Buffy and Spike are trying to do everything in their power to get over each other, but have so far been unsuccessful. Whenever they try to let the other go, they are haunted by thoughts of the other. I love how Wes was able to get Spike to stop what he was doing. As hurt as he was by Buffy, it's not fair to Harmony for him to use her in that manner to dull the pain of losing Buffy. I hope they can work things out and find their way back to each other. It seems faith has a lot of influence on Buffy and not necessarily in a good way. Whenever faith is around it's like Buffy is a completely different person.

I think Buffy's POV has come across clearly to me. She's said of committing to a man she could really love, so she settles for someone who is easy and familiar. I also think it came across to be with Angels Angelus persons. I hope before Buffy decides whether she's leaving our not every she might be leaving behind instead. Both with Spike and Giles dvd other people who really care for her in the household. I hope she realizes Spike really does love her, he's not just feeding her done line to get her into bed He really does love and cherish her. I hope she contemplates revert she might lose out on before she leaves. Spike is feeling like a complete full right about now for Leong her into his heart. He's probably thinking it was all just a game to her.

Poor Spike. I knew something was going to go wrong. Everything just seemed too perfect. I can't believe she cheated on Spike with Angel. There must be an explanation for it. I'm thinking Angel and Faith are her comfort zone where she has familiarity, whereas Spike offers her something new and someone she could really love and they scared her more than anything. Why do I get the feeling Spike is going to react badly. I'm some ways this reminds me of Buffy and Angels "hello kiss" towards the end of the series. I hope they'll be able to work through things towards the end of this story. It's gotta cut deep for Spike. He just put his heart on the line and then to have it shattered just as quickly as it was put in place.

Well at least Lydia helped push Buffy and Spike together more. Who knew all it took was a little jealousy for Buffy to reveal all her feelings to Spike. I'm glad she did and all seems good between them. The question is how long will their honeymoon period last before they gave their next obstacle, wherever that may be. To be honest want expecting Buffy to say those three words just yet. I thought it'd take a bit more time for her to be able to admit her feelings. I'm glad she was so honest and open about her feelings for Spike though.

Seems Buffy is starting to raise her feelings for Spike now and even accept them perhaps. I love the idea of a jealous Buffy. It's so didn't to see her not in check if her emotions when she's best spoken But is Buffy to late to have a real chance with Spike. I'm glad to see them stay to fall back into their friendship if nothing else. Though to Buffy and Spike it's probably not what they want, but it's better than not talking at all. Willow going to a club with the gang is interesting. She's usually socially awkward, so to see her step out of her comfort zone is kind of interesting. I'm looking forward to reading part two.

Ooh, what kind of terrible will Ethan Rayne bring to Spike's already troubled life. I hope Buffy will begin to see and believe in Spije's words after seeing Ethan and knowing the kind of relationship they have. I wonder why he's there. He must have some kind of ulterior motive for being there.

Buffy and Spike really need to talk. They can't avoid each other forever. The atmosphere has changed between them now, but if Buffy actually gave Spike a chance to prove he meant his words, maybe they could work and Buffy could also start to believe someone could love her. I think her avoiding and dismissing Spike's feelings as nothing more than physical is her way of protecting her heart from being hurt again. It's clear she has been hurt badly in the past and doesn't want Spike to have that power because then she'd have to acknowledge she really cares about him. A conversation is really needed between them to resolve things. They can't go on this way avoiding each other. I look forward to what's next and the drama Ethan Raynes arrival will bring.

Everything seems to have changed between Spike and Buffy this chapter. Buffy was being kind of mean pursuing those other guys knowing how Spike most feel. Clearly she knows, right? If not, the only one who can't see it is Buffy. If only she'd let gee guard down and give Spike a chance to care about her as something more than a friend. I think she's been hurt so badly in the past she's afraid to give Spike a real chance. She's afraid of being hurt by him. If she gave him a chance, he might surprise her.

I actually really liked Charlie. She gave us an outsider perspective of Buffy and Spike's relationship. It looks as if they're starting to see their feelings for each other even if they're not able to make a move yet. I do wonder why Buffy seems to think she doesn't deserve a gift from Spike and thinks she has to do something to earn it. It is possible he just wanted to do something nice. I also think there's times Spike comes off as judgemental even if he does mean well. I'm curious what Spike's next move is.

I wonder who it is that keeps on calling Giles residence? Could it be Ethan, Spikes father. I'm sure Giles, Xander and woke are going to be in for quite the surprise when they see Spikes new appearance. I just hope they won't blame it on Buffy. I think this new demeanor and Spike persona of his can be good for him. No more being pushed around by bully's and added confidence. I love how much spike and Buffy are growing to trust each other. I couldn't see Buffy confiding in Giles the way she is with Spike at this moment. Looking forward to seeing what Spike will show Buffy in London.

I like seeing Spike get outside his comfort zone a little bit in this chapter, even if it didn't quite go as planned in the end. Rather than be pummeled to the floor, he took very action and defended himself which was nice to see. Even getting the first punch with a guy who was twice his size. Looks like his inner Spike is strong to emerge from the shadows. I love that it was Buffy who have him his new nickname. I look forward to seeing what Giles reaction will be like once he sees the new Spike for himself. Seeing Buffy get a little bit jealous was interesting to see. I don't think either one of them is ready to admit to the other how they feel yet, but I think their feelings about each other are starting to emerge.

Yay! Spike is finally emerging. It with William Ave in with Spike. I love they in your story Buffy is more rebellious and less preppy. I also love found it interesting that Harmony was the one to do his hair and she messed it up to get the look of Spike and ended up loving it even more. Were starting to see his more carefree side now and see him be less of o push over. Also looks like we're starting to see how much these two really care about each other. Looking forward to the next chapter.

I'm loving that Drusilla is connecting so well with Buffy. It's nothing I would have pictured between the two of them watching the series in my youth. It almost feels sisterly and it's refreshing from the usual antagonistic relationship they have. I'm looking forward to reading the emerging of spoke from William. Buffy sure knows how to get William to let his guard down in front of Buffy. I'm looking forward to reading the transformation, however long it takes.
