I'm not really sure what to say... was this a morality tale more than a canon sort of process? It seemed like it... loved the spin you put on Red... really, such an intersting idea...

I love this story...I think it's great. Nicely done and beautifully written-I applaud you.

I don't get it entirely... Twisted internal logic... I don't know why you picked that particular fairy tale, as a matter of fact, or why the "correct" answer was correct... But maybe that's the problem with me... I deal with matters like this with logic, like the mist-veiled truth is something to be conquered, not carefully sought, wooed.

In fact, I was going to do a disembodied dream-symbollic-summary thing too, dammit! Which means that those who have read this are going to be rather bored with my idea. Please don't sue me!

But moving on, the idea, the basic concept for the writing is just brilliant, with the working the fairy tale and the metaphors together. I love it. I'm adding it to my favorites list.

I really liked this story, and went on to read several of your others before I simply got too tired and decided to write this review before I fall asleep. Incidentally I'm not particularly thrilled with Sirius and the foreshadowing that it seems everyone else liked especially. It's lovely in its own right, but I liked the conversation between Remus and the She better somehow. It made me think a lot more, and even though I can't pretend that I understand it all perfectly, it left me feeling a little perplexed and a little sad, which is how I imagine Remus feeling. Beautiful stuff, and again, I'm adding you to my favorites list. :) Just so you know. Keep it up, whiny a/n and all :D

By the publish date of this story, I don't imagine you're reading the reviews for it anymore, but for what it's worth - I don't think I've wasted my time reading it. I especially like the bit about James the Stag as a prey animal being hunted and Sirius the Grim harbinger of death. When I read the Sirius bit and realized that his form looking like a Grim was a tie in to his believing he was responsible for his friends deaths - like he was a curse - I felt like slapping my forehead with the accompanying "Doh! How did I miss that?" (Incidentally, it felt remarkably like the I-am-an-idiot feeling I got when I realized that Diagon Alley was diagonally and Knockturn Alley was Nocturnally. Oh well, at least it didn't completely pass me by...) Nice work!

Let's see here. I grazed over this fic a few times as I searched and always meant to read it...I finally have.

One of the first things that REALLY struck me about this in terms of the Harry Potter books themselves was definitely the thought of relaying the fear of the Grim back into Sirius. I think most of us really just dismissed the Sirius-Grim relation as being a result of Harry's imagination. Nice Ironic touch there that it would be a fear of his as well.

I quite liked your version of Red Riding Hood as well - sort of the promise of perfection...but why only for Remus? That in itself is interesting as well.

The only thing that I have to say is that for me, the ending was quite unclear...I'm inclined to believe that this would be Remus's wish for everything to be "normal" in his life...but...perhaps I'm mistaken?

All in all, this was very enjoyable, and I'm quite glad I read it.
