Reviews for Twisted Hearts: Triangular
v.ren55 chapter 2 . 7/25/2017
Interesting beginning, hilarious scenes... and yet you don't shy away fro the consequences. I like this. Very much.
rhapsodicxheiress chapter 1 . 7/7/2017
OHOHOHO I understood that "Don Juan" reference XD
la canelle chapter 10 . 1/7/2015
Wow, just wow. I love it.
Blargha chapter 1 . 2/4/2013
I must say that, having only read the first chapter so far, this was absolutely fantastic! You're ability to use dialogue to propel the story is astounding! It flows beautifully between hilarious and perfectly in character banter and wonderful descriptions of the setting that manage to flesh out the world in short order. I sincerely hope that you don't abandon this style of writing as you're quite good at it! And now: time to read the rest of the story!
I Burn Water chapter 10 . 7/1/2012
excellent and very amusing. I had finally thought I had expelled my interest in the Teen Titans fandom, then I read this and now I want more. Bravo, your characterization and ability to add depth and meaning to even the most light hearted of situations makes me quite jealous.
Tikigod784 chapter 10 . 7/19/2011
I'm impressed you played the relationship issues between them straight. I mean, sure, it's still a menage a trios scenario, but at least you made it realistically painful. Most people would have the characters just languidly basking in an apparently awesome three-way relationship. That said, the way you present it is aggravating. Fittingly, perhaps, but still aggravating. I can't tell if that was completely intentional.

I can say however that your knack for action scenes is exemplary. Fantastic work all around.
Guest chapter 3 . 3/6/2011
I realize that I am a little late, but I don't care. When I first heard that the older sister was Alicia, I kinda hoped the younger one would be Sarah. Now, I am very glad it is Jess, otherwise I wouldn't be able to face my big sister. Can you guess what our names are? This may sound stupid and I may be wrong but I believe I know who Robin is going to end up with. I won't say the name because if I'm wrong I'll have a hard enough time feeling not-stupid without saying. But fantastic job, hands down.
pwykersotz chapter 10 . 2/2/2011
Love the story. Great characterization, great plot, and I like the wrap-up too. You got the 'voice' of the characters down quite well.

Of course, as with most people, I find it difficult to come up with praise on the fly. It's so much harder to compliment things you like, especially the subtle things that are supposed to be in the background to set the mood. Suffice it to say, two thumbs up for this story, 10 stars out of 10 for what you were trying to write.

I have merely a single piece of criticism, and it isn't about the story. Rather, it's about something that felt horribly forced into the story. The words 'Christian' and 'Conservative' and the commentary that ensues.

I happen to be both, but that's neither here nor there. My only thought is that you never know who is going to be reading and enjoying your work. Putting in slams (or kudos) against (to) real people and organizations in a fictional universe is rather breaking of the suspension of disbelief.

I don't even mind the comments themselves, after all, it's a perfectly valid viewpoint. It just came across as a bit of a shock when I'm reading about Robin and Speedy and their wacky hijinks as younger kids, and suddenly I'm reading that Christians disapprove of a non-toxic and fast acting way to get sober. If you had named a group that was prevalent in the DC universe or gone with the ever generic "certain groups", it would have been fine.

Anyhow, not to get high-horse or anything, but try to keep religion and politics out of a fantasy story. For every reader who agrees with you and pumps their fist at the shared feelings toward them, there's another who is made to feel uncomfortable at a line that has no true relevance to the story.

I like the way Michael Jordan said it best. When asked to vouch for his personal political party on tv, he simply declined saying "Republicans buy shoes too".

Happy writing!

I haven't finished your story yet, but i felt the need to review. While your writing is very good (it makes my own look stories look shallow and sad compared to) i find your story is inhibited by your silly vindetta against christianity. Now I don't care if you hate the religion in real life, but having your characters (speedy mostly i think) spout crap like that which they obviously wouldn't say or think to get your own opinions out is...pathetic. I do apologize for reviewing an older fic which your probably way finished with but i wasn't reading FF back when u wrote this and i felt the need to review. But i'm still reading it, cause your interactions between robin, raven, and starfire are awesome.
BlackRoseFire chapter 10 . 10/11/2009
Awesome story. I really enjoyed. I am a fan of the RaeRobStar pairing/trio.
BlackRoseFire chapter 2 . 10/11/2009
Awesome I can't wait to read the next chapter. I agree with you about the Joker. I beleive that they screwed up all the villians on The Batman, I prefer the 90's Batman my self.

THIS would have to be my favorite chapter, although it is hard to choose with your amazing writing. Chapter one comes in a close second, and chapters four and five are pretty freaking awesome too, oh, and who could forget chapter two? :D

But I'm actually only reviewing to ask you whether or not it would be okay if I drew out some snapshots from this chapter (and I suppose to sneak in a reminder that I want to do the same thing for Tough Love). Would that be okay? Ever since I first read this, I've wanted to sketch out a Starfire trying to incinerate herself from the inside.

Wow. You never cease me amaze me with these, no matter how many times I've read them. And I completely adore this chapter. _
SylverEyes chapter 4 . 6/28/2008
Alright, so I'm reading this story for about the billionth time and I have to leave a review at some point along the road. I mean, I'm completely blown away by your writing. You have such a unique style that tells you exactly what is going on without boring you or becoming trite with overused words, phrases or even situations. You're extremely creative and completely awesome and I just bow to you. Not to mention your characterization is wonderful. Speaking of which, I'm in awe of your Starfire. IN AWE. I have such difficulties writing her, but you've managed to make her innocent and naive in a way that doesn't make me want to smack you upside the head. The combination of sophisticated, well... Starfire-ness with the wide-eyed questionable side of her just blows me away. I'll be referring back to parts of this story when I want to write her, just so you know.

I just... I don't even know how do describe it. I just keep wondering how you can do it, although I should have expected it after reading your take on Aftershock Part Two. The only upsetting thing for me is that I'm pretty sure you aren't going to be coming back to this fandom any time soon. I just... wow. Wow. Thanks for writing this awesome piece of work, and know that this will NOT be the last time that I'll be reading this. Because... wow. :D

Yeah. That's my pent up amazement of your writing skills. It's been building for quite some time. _
