Just incredible, unexpexted new fresh and WOW

Really enjoying this story! It has such an original angle and the Saki\Donatello interactions are great

Hi. Anybody there? (crickets). I saw this fic a while back but lost track of it because I couldn't remember the title or author. I have'nt kept up with The Turtles because there was too many fandoms and stories to keep track of before the Avengers came out. It finally occured to me to check the communities section today. I don't usually go to the communities. So, no update huh? Are you writing at all? I really like this story so I the plot bunnies start biting again. "See you!"

I totally enjoyed this chapter. I love Sasha so far and how this is playing out. It's nice to see Don and Saki bonding and not fighting. It really makes you think about how personalities change when bad things happen like illustrated here. I know you haven't updated this yet, but I hope the muses will come back to you soon. Nicely done.

This is such a great story. The pair is intriguing on their own but you also handle them really well. I love their personalities! but I also enjoy the balance you accomplished between the dark side of the plot and the refreshing humor pieces.

Well, at least this reader is reading . . . and. . . apparently reviewing, too. I did make good re: my announcement on Stealthy Stories. Not sure what the statistics say on your end, as far as hits and visits, go, but when I'm not getting reviews for my stories, I take into consideration those who are at least reading.

Anyway, the dynamics of the fandom have changed considerably since you were a regular here and I can't say it's been good for the TMNT's. There are so many author-insertion and/or OC dominated stories, most of which pair the turtles up in some fashion and always with OC's that are so Mary Sue, I think it makes my OC from my first story look pretty bland! LOL There are a few good ones, but - not many. :0( You're a breath of fresh air, believe me!

Well, seems we're getting more indepth to how Sasha came into Saki and Donnie's company. The thing with the kites is funny! :0) And the topic of - urniation. Goodness, poor Don. HAHAHAHAHA!

Looking forward to chapter 5! Oh - yes. :0)

Do my eyes deceive me? Can I be dreaming? Melodist is...is...alive? :0) YAY! You're back. I haven't been writing much, either, and I still have a few stories that I've left simmering for months, if not years, because of real life (or writer's block), so I totally understand your absence from fanfiction.

Considering how much time has transpired between The Aftermath's chapter 2 and chapter 3, I decided to re-read the entire story. Fortunately for me, you didn't write the equvilent of War and Peace!

That said, I will comment on my reaction to all three, even though I've largely reviewed the first two already:

You gave an interesting view in chapter one about what would be more important if an apocolyptic event were to occur here in the U.S., or anywhere else in the free world. Feuds would seem petty compared to having 97% of the world's population snuffed out. Moreover, the art of survival might take a feral point of view with the surviving number of humans (and, in this case, one mutant turtle), with only a few grasping at that last shred of sanity like a well-loved comforter. To survive, one often has to seek peace.

The second part expresses hope that some semblence of life might continue after such a horrific event as what The Stand depicts. And the humor you've inserted with chapter 2 was spot-on perfect. Since I had largely forgotten the basis for this chapter, however, I was a little worried, but something told me all is not as it seems. Loved the ending. And, of course, you've introduced a new OC and in such a way as to pique my curiosity about how she hooked up with Saki and Donatello.

With chapter 3, you've explained that. It's not unusual for a story to take a step back at some point in the telling, to explain how certain characters get together. This worked well, I think! Now, you have a foundation to continue this at least a couple of more chapters. Of course, depending on your muses, available time, and real life happenings.

All that aside, it was great to see your name pop up in my email. The fandom desperately needs good stories and you are one of the best writers, IMO. Welcome back! :0)

Anyway, this was a wonderful piece of work. I enjoyed it very much!

Loved this second part. At first I thought Saki and Don were in a real battle until I read further down. Way to trick us, Melodist. That was awesome. I love when authors do that sometimes. Nicely done.

You're so friggin' smart it kills me. In a post-apocalyptic world, of COURSE Donatello is going to try to set up a radio to contact others. It's all in the details and you never disappoint.

Yay. I should send you one of my comics. I have the original TMNT and a couple of them are signed and I've gotten one of the original artists (besides Eastman and Laird) to draw me a little pitch-er of Raphael. In fact, I have a rather large collection of stuff. Hm. I'll look through my trove and see if something strikes me as suitable for you. If you even want one. And if you don't think I'm some psycho obsessed fan. I'm not, I promise... Let me know. :)
