I love this story so far. The focus on numbers is cute and quite original. Even though this hasn't been updated for five years, I hope you haven't completely forgotten about it because I'm curious as to where you'll go with this. You have an interesting beginning.

I find it amusing that four is Kyo's number, since 4 is supposedly very very unlucky, while five is lucky/powerful (pentagram anyone?), though not as lucky as 7. 6 and 2 are special numbers only because all the multiples of 6 add up to 6 and 2 is the _only_ even number that is a prime. XD

I've never thought of a Uo/Kyo pairing before, so I was a little hesitant at first. Oh and I absolutely loved watching the culmination of Ayame's hardwork pay off for Yuki/Tohru. :D My breath caught when Uo shoved her daughter into Kyo's arms, and I realized it just as Kyo realized it. XD I would've loved to see Uo's reaction. I also loved seeing Hatusharu and Hanajima's meeting as I've never read something like nor thought of their meeting before. Spot-on characterization as usual. I am in a happy, inspired place right now. :D

I totally agree with your AN in the first chapter- Uo belongs to only Kyo and vice versa. I SHOULD hate Kureno, but I don't, because I feel kind of sorry for him, but I don't like KurenoUo. Hey Caitlyn. It's Cess. Yay, finally a Furuba fic. I love it so far. It's so good update soon.

The story itself is interesting, probably the best I've seen tonight, though that isn't a hard title to claim in this fandom. ;; I'm somewhat annoyed to come to the end and realize that it isn't finished. Oneshots have spoiled me, I suppose. As it is it's okay, personally I think that faster pacing with the right scene cuts could create more of an "interweaving" effect and really make this piece sing.

I'm glad I kept reading-as a fan of the manga, the AN nearly made me turn back. Honestly, this is why I get annoyed at people who spoil themselves, because they hear things out of context, and fret about their pet pairings. Have a little faith in our talented mangaka, will you? Since you like spoilers, Kureno is with Akito, not Uo. He's pretty much refused to have anything to do with Uo. It's a nice option if you happen to like Kureno/Uo, but it doesn't really get in the way of Kyou/Uo, especially the way you've set this up. This happens to a lot of new characters, like Rin, because the spoilers don't near do the story justice. I'm probably the only Yukiru fangirl who likes Machi, but this is because my love of the characters doesn't hinge on whether or not they're paired.

That said, I have nothing against anime continuity. I'll be keeping an eye on this fic.
