Oh my gosh! That's aweful! If someone could think of the worst for Jarod, this is it. Without any physical torture of course. In some twisted and demented way, I liked it.

That was brutal in its simplicity. What utter betrayal. What a very good job you did of conveying it. At the ending of your piece I felt like I had been betrayed by Sidney as well. I wish you would continue this and resolve the situation, but it certainly stands on its own.

That was very sad. I hope you plan on writing more. Its seems almost out of character for both Jarod and Sydney. Jarod has a lot of strength and Syd loves him like his own son. Somehow, though, even if you don't write more I can see it coming full circle. Jarod faking it, Sydney faking it to get Parker her freedom and Jarod escaping again...
