This is one of, if not my favorite little Luke fic. You did a fantastic job with Owen and Beru! Some people really struggle with Owen, but you nailed his character! And great job with making Luke act and talk like a little kid! Fantastic work! )

Luke is really cute, and i love how you wrote him like a 4 year old, and not like a 10 year old... most fanfic writers tend to do that- they don't know how to write a little kid who behaves like a little kid...

I also really like the interaction between Beru and Owen. -It also involves their lives, which is important.

Just wanted to let you know that I came across your story and I'm totally enjoying it. I love to read 'Missing Moments' fics - especially if they actually manage to keep the characters in character, as you do. I like how you've explained Owen's ambivalence, and the beginning of the tension between Owen and Luke that we see in A New Hope. And Beru's balancing act.

Anyway, can't wait for more.

Aww, it's the Force! It's his gift...funny, isn't it? How your blessings could sometimes be your curse. I just wish his uncle would understand, as I'm sure Leia has a better time off with Bail. (I'm merely expressing my thoughts; not asking you to change anything.) However, interestingly enough, the AotC book doesn't depict Owen that way. I know it might have seemed so in the ANH movie, but he isn't ignorant about Anakin. He loved Shmi very much, and would accept her grandson as well. He might not want Luke to be like Anakin, as Luke is under his care. Still, he didn't despise the Jedi, and would be more tender towards LUke. It's your story though, so do whatever you want. I haven't seen the 4, 5 and 6th movies in a long time, but I just saw the 3rd (twice..hehe), and it really stayed true, and "cannon like".
