Reading this fic made me both so happy that Hao and Yoh are with each other and yet... sad at the same time cuz neither one is backing down from their respective positions, but it's obvious they care about each other. Even if Hao doesn't know that consciously. Or, at least, doesn't fully accept it. I know that in the manga things end well enough, but... I really love the brotherly bond between those two. It's heartwarming and a little painful considering their both on opposite sides of one another.

Oh so awesome and heartwarming. This is beautiful fic and deserves sequel. I think it would be better if you had chapter for each day, but this is too more than ok! I am interested,did he add Yoh in picture? However, you mentioned fire being Hao's element, but he only uses it because it's most destructive and having it's spirit strenghtens it's potency, he can at will control all of them. I imagine this being part of anime and I almost cried when I remembered end. Part when Hao takes Yoh's well in mouth is great, he is controlling even in that position, but Yoh thankfully fast takes his deserved role of uke! That minor lake spirit is interesting, you mentioned in passing it's female, and then for some reason I started shipping her and Spirit of Fire. Please do sequel, Shaman King anime with this as canon events and how Yoh and Hao interact, and please don't have anybody find out ( and if it's not problem, add in above mentioned lake spirit, I think she is cute.).

great story, flawlessy writing and amazing everything. I adored the humor in the story and Yohs slacking off nature :)

So beautiful, dark and kinda heart warming

This was truly amazing. I loved it.

This the best HaoYoh fanfiction that has ever been written. Period. I just couldn't get enough of this that I read it underneath my desk in class, non stop. I once thought that fics with long chapters where my worst nightware because no matter how well written they were, they bored the hell out of me. But this. This simply read itself. Not only that, you managed to capture their personalities and blend them in the story perfectly. A first-rate yaoi with a plot worthy of praise. Seriously, I can't thank you enough for sharing this with us :)

This fanfic still remains to be my favorite even it has been 7 years since the first time I read it. To be honest I've read it through 3 times already and it still has its perks! You are really AWESOME!By the way, may I translate it into other language and share with my friends? I LOVE THIS STORY, ITS SOOO GOIN ON MY FAV'S XD u said how u thought this story was much longer than u thought, buh im glad n i like long stories, wen i got close 2 the end i was like "NOOOOOOO!" buh i totally think that u could have made this story wayyy longer XD... like makin a sequel n continuing it would b a good idea rite i wanna c wah happens durin the tournament... buh i hoped that Hao was more sympathetic, caring, and felt guilty 4 some of the stuff he did, buh either way, this story was AWESOME!
