Of all the Star Wars fanfiction I've read, this continues to be one of my absolute favorites. No matter how many times I've read this story, I'm always in tears by the end in the best way possible. Because the longing and love and desperation in both Anakin/Vader and Luke are just so perfectly and powerfully captured, I feel so strongly for both of them. Especially in that last segment of chapter 4:

Darth Vader could not bear to lose him, to have that bond torn away again. He could not bear to have that light - that small star - however dim it may be, ripped from his precarious grasp again.

Every part of this story is just so beautiful. Thank you.

First of all, I have to praise you for creating such a wonderful story! I have always been a great fan of Anakin/Luke relationship, and this fanfiction is, I believe, one of the best ones on the entire net. I love it!

I wish I could leave some deep and insightful review that could reflect even a small portion of the beauty and power of this story, but I could never do it justice. Every word is perfectly chosen and perfectly placed; a beautifully crafted story that left me in tears (of the best kind).

That was utterly beautiful. It was so...so...perfect. Every detail was believable, the relationships so easy to understand. I can't find words to describe how wonderful this is.

"Numb like his heart which had stilled around the pain and beat now only out of habit."

I LOVED that line. It fit so perfectly, and Luke's emotions were so pure and unfiltered that it was stunning. I really like this.

You have a gift. I love how you describe everything in such detail, and how you make the reader feel that they are really there. Keep writing cause I'm sure to check your other stories!
