| BabyKay47 chapter 1 . 1/14/2016 I love the atmosphere you created, the loneliness and the hopelessness Luke was feeling that seems to have led him to this discovery that is happy but melancholy at the same time. I love that Luke feels home is wherever Leia is, and it's an interesting idea that they had different birthdays so weren't sure which was real. Finding out the truth is possibly the best gift ever, but it's so tragic too. Luke wondering why their mother didn't live for them is heartbreaking. (I still don't understand how she died of a broken heart and am much less forgiving than they are-but of course she wasn't *my* mother.) But I think your explanation for how Leia remembers her, and why the droids never said anything about their parents is as good an explanation as any. I hope that in the new canon Luke and Leia find out or have found out who their mother is. If not I'll pretend this happened because it's really beautiful. |

The closest of course was Leia's remembrances in ROTJ, but this story provides something quite a bit better. |
