   MissyH316 chapter 16 . 2/12 Hey! You are way too self-demeaning! Had Erik been looking over your shoulder with his exacting demand for perfection while you were writing this story? Well if I had been there, I'd have told him "Stop It!" ;-) One - I really enjoyed this chapter, and Two - I just came upon this story a couple of hours ago and can't put it down! I think this is a well-written story and I like your more realistic approach to the E/C reunion (although they're both still letting their assumptions nearly ruin their own mutual happiness - nothing new for them, unfortunately). Anyway, I just had to stop reading long enough to both "scold" you and compliment you. :-) Actually, I know too well how perfectionism can be both a good thing and a "bad" thing, and is sometimes hard to balance out wanting to do quality work and being self-defeating. See, I'm a musician whose father was a music teacher and a professional musician, and I'm also a former I.T. systems developer of 25 years. So... I'm well aware of the ups and downs of being a perfectionist, and have always been told I'm often too hard on myself. Thus, I know of what I am speaking. :-). Now I'd better go finish reading this story before the sun comes up. ;-) |
