The last time I read this it was only up to Chapter 11! And that was almost four years ago. I was just reading through the reviews I've made when I saw that there's an update for this fanfic. I was right when I said it was promising. "I have to go pick up a monkey" was perfect line to end your story. For you to have written a fanfic with 17 chapters - I find that amazing - I didn't get to finish all of my fics. They're just hidden somewhere - unfinished. Great job, Paris! :)

I loved how you described Father from the beginning - dropping hints about his real identity. And it what you did with Karin's eyes and Father's eyes was really imaginative - and something I can see Hakkai doing since he is all about self-sacrifice.

And a great tribute to my two favorite Saiyuki/Gaiden characters: Hakkai/Tenpou and Gojyo/Kenren. And I absolutely love how Kenren slowly, but finally, realizes his feelings for Tenpou - *happy*. Too bad Hakkai and Gojyo didn't realize their relationship sooner - *sad*.

The whole scene with Goku is really sad, though. I hope our poor Goku finds some peace. TT_TT

Oh, wow. This was an amazing story, and I loved the way you wove in past and present together, and your OCs fit perfectly into Saiyukiverse (is that a real word?) Your characterisation of Gojyo was perfect. Keep up the good work! We need more 85 on this site.

Oh, I liked the idea of this story very much! _ And I loved the haven of youkais Father had build. (At several points I called Kenren 'dumb' - he missed so obvious things that told him who Father was! *lol*) Loved the ending scene of the last chapter. A lot. I like Jien, though he's one of the "bad" guys. Or was. Anyway, keep up the good work!

Hakkai and Gojyo end up where they belong, together again, adn Sanzo goes back for goku and they all end yuop abck in heaven to wreak massive amounts of havok once again.

*just found your story* Just simply lovely! I was tearing up in some parts. I love how you did the roles, though I had a feeling something was up with the girl having red hair, yet green (almost blind) eyes. And then with Father. Very enjoyable story! Thank you for writing that!

wild applause. I just read through the whole thing. I loved it from the start. I was going to complain about you having Hakkai reincarnated as a girl, but then I started to think...maybe...and then I was right. it was Father all along. Great with the eyes and all. The only thing that bothered me then was Goku's fate. I mean, yay, they're going to go get him, but since Konzen was obviously the first to die as Sanzo and wake back up, I would think he would go after Goku right away. But I still really liked it. When Tenpou came to pick him up...sight. Though I wonder, Yaone and Jien should have known it was Hakkai. Did they? Anyway, great job!

Bravo! _ Perfect ending fer a perfect story. But I do agree with LilCheekyAngel and Attiqah Gensui. You should make a sequel for how Konzen finds Goku on earth. And i'm sure all of us would really like to know what Kenren said to get Hakkai/Tenpou back to Tenpou's body, so maybe if you do write that sequel then you can somehow incorpoate that into it. Again this was very good! _
