| indus chapter 10 . 11/15/2007 Hi, this was a great fic, well-written and fascinating. I love stories with Teyla playing a big role, and there's not many of them. The only thing I'd mention is the line about the Muslim home in chapter nine, I think. The thing is- I grew up in one of those and I was allowed to leave the house. It's a stereotype and one that reflects a lot less of the 1.6 billion of us than most people seem to think. Normally, I don't care about statements like that, but I loved your fic, and when I read that line- it felt like someone had personally insulted my family and the home I loved growing up in. I'm not saying you should change it, just that it had an impact you might not have meant it to have. Again, the fic was amazing! |

Before The Siege, Part II, there were only three US military officers on Atlantis-Sumner, Sheppard and Ford-and only one member of the USAF-Sheppard. Having more than three officers for two dozen or so military personnel would have been excessive. |
