lucel18 chapter 5 . 2/12/2019 I love it! Obi-wan's reaction to Padme's kisses was realistic even though it hurts, but he's right. So I appreciate that he deeply respects her and their friendship to put a stop to it. I do hope you update. It's such a great story. Refreshingly different. Thank you so much! |
lucel18 chapter 4 . 2/12/2019 AHHHHHHHHH! that's a confession right? Sorta? Lol. |
lucel18 chapter 3 . 2/12/2019 Lovely though painful...lovely because they can understand each other's grief better than anybody and be able to provide comfort for the other |
lucel18 chapter 2 . 2/12/2019 She took the news about her children rather well. I'm glad..she probably realized their decision is best and perhaps it will give her time to heal as well.. |
lucel18 chapter 1 . 2/12/2019 She might lose it when she learns what happened to her children.. At least, she and Obi-wan are alone here... |
RKF22 chapter 5 . 9/7/2010 great story pleaseeeeeeeeeeee continue |
Chasing Liquor chapter 5 . 12/4/2007 Well, it seems like this is destined to remain unfinished, which is a terrible shame because this story is so lovely. I absolutely love your characterizations here. In too many stories, writers who constantly go on in their notations about how they're going to be "realistic" about things make the characters so tentative or detached or almost cold that there's no point in reading anymore. It just takes all of the fun out of it. You, though, are able to be pretty realistic while not at all taking the fun out of it. The courtship/friendship between Obi-Wan and Padme is, so sweet and heart-warming while not at all being ridiculous. I'm saddened that this won't ever be completed. I do hope you have a surprising compulsion to return to this at some point because it's fantastic. |
Kenobifan chapter 5 . 12/7/2005 OMG! What a wonderful story! And you didn't finish it? Oh you definately need to finish this. I hope you find it in your heart to do so. The story is well written and you are absolutely talented! I love Obidala stories, it's the way it should have been. Oh please, contiue this marvelous story! *on knees begging* Wonderful, just wonderful. :) |
Mjade-1 chapter 5 . 10/5/2005 Beautiful and touching story. Very realistic emotions and feelings. After watching Episode I, I couldn't believe Padme just lost the will to live. I mean, did she forget about everyone completely, about Obi-Wan? Was Anakin the only thing that mattered to her? How about her children? That is why I love your story. It is a more logical continuation of what should have happened after she gave birth. I just wish that both Padme and Obi-Wan do eventually fall in love, not as a replacement of Anakin or for her loneliness but as another person that she could love for the rest of her life and him for her. Beautiful story, and should be continued. I really hope you update soon because it is a good Obi-Wan/Amidala story and it is so hard to find one of those nowadays. I know that my request may mean very little to you since countless reviewers have asked the same thing but please, please, continue this story. Because as Padme couldn't bear being separated from Obi-Wan, I can't bear it if you didn't continue. So once again, I love your story, wonderfully written, please update soon. |

Nat2 chapter 5 . 7/30/2005 I'm not usually an Obidala fan, but what you write is very subtle and, most importantly, believable. This is great, please keep going! |

LondonGirl27 chapter 5 . 7/26/2005 Hurrah! :D Another exciting update to this story! I must admit-I've been waiting on the edge of my seat here! Whew . . . I'm glad you weren't bothered by my last comment, SpaceCowgirl1. I was afraid you might be. Thank you for being very understanding, and for taking time out to clarify things for me. I love that Padme is still thinking about all the people in her life that she's loved and lost-her children, Anakin . . . everyone! This chapter really shows the depth of her emotional range-something that I feel Mr. Lucas failed to depict properly in ROTS. After reading your new chapter, I absolutely adore Obi-Wan a lot more. In my opinion, he is completely in character here. Quite the gentleman, that Jedi-and I love him for it. His restraint in this chapter makes him sexier than had he actually shagged Padme. Poor Padme-I really felt her sadness and loneliness in this chapter. I truly sympathized with her here. It's good to see that she is building this strong friendship with Obi-Wan. She needs someone to lean on, considering what she's been through. Also, I liked your attention to details-the description of Obi-Wan as he slept, the slight graying of his beard and hair, etc. Details like this really are helpful in picturing the characters at that moment. Once again, I am thrilled that you are pacing yourself in writing this story, SpaceCowgirl1. At the end of Chap. 3, I must admit that I was a wee bit afraid, thinking to myself,"Oh my-I wonder if they're going to sleep together already!" I personally didn't want anything to happen too soon. But, to my relief, Obi-Wan knew not to take advantage of Padme's vulnerable state of mind. It's wonderful that you aren't one of those authors who rushes your story. The tension b/w them is obviously building, but at a nice, comfortable pace. Absolutely fantastic! I'm very curious to see what's next . . . |
