 poxmaker chapter 1 . 6/28/2011 This is the first Empire Records fic I've read, and I really liked it. Course, I've only seen half the movie, so I can't really comment on their in-characterness, but I liked it nonetheless. Although they were drunk, so a bit of OOC-ness is to be expected. :P I laughed so hard at the Strip Poker. WHY does that make so much sense? XD Also, drunk brownies are probably the best. I may have to try that sometime... This was an excellent intro into the fandom for me (no matter how small said fandom may be). I hope there are more Empire Records fics like this. x3 |

| Nova-Janna chapter 1 . 6/11/2006 What I think is, despite the fact that this particular pairing never occured to me during the movie, you've made it work. I like the way it's written - it's a lot like how I write, I think - and I especially like how well it flows. I mean, it's a tad OOC (but they were drunk, so that explains it) but it still really works. I really liked this line: 'Mark kisses the way Lucas imagined he would; nervous movement and taught concentration in a fight against ADD.' That's just so Mark to me. Nice one-shot, not crap at all. |
