Also Tony has really good observation skills (even by investigator standards) and is able to learn things about people just by observing them or throwing very obscure questions at them.

Awesome story, always enjoy a healthy dose of Tate (really is a shame that she left the show, left so many what ifs and if only's). I really like the name for their little boy as well nice mesh of both their names. I'd really like to see either a sequel or a new Tate story especially now we have even more background on both of these great characters.

I unfortunately don't have the ability to write a story myself but I've been thinking for a while what could have changed if Tony went down to autopsy with the evidence from Abby instead of Kate during the episode Bete Noire. It would be easy enough to switch Tony with Kate as the only reason he didn't go was because he was in the head (toilet) so he could of either not been using the head or was just getting back when Abby was asking for him.

A few things would change immediately because of this change for one thing Ducky wouldn't of tried to trick Ari if Tony came down which is what got Gerald shot (I mean what would the point be Tony clearly isn't Abby), plus Tony has a way of gaining information without the bad guys realising or he just ticks them off enough that they say something without thinking or uses some other means to manipulate information out of them (no matter how skilled they are or what advantages they hold as Eli David found out), not to mention his ability to make people focus solely on him even when the room is full of other people (it could also change the whole dynamic of the events that took place after this episode as Ari could be focused more on DiNozzo instead of becoming obsessed with Gibbs, they even share a few similarities with having crappy Fathers obviously Senior isn't anywhere near as bad as Eli but still wasn't the best, very absent disowned his son at the age of 12, kicked him from boarding school to boarding school and finally even a Military Academy).

Anyway enough rambling, great work on this story.

I'm so glad I found this fic! I love Kate/Tony fics! It is absolutely adorable, wonderful, sweet... OMG! You have to update. You really HAVE to update. Or else! Bwahahaha! Okay... ignore that last part. Caffeine's just really bad for people... but please update!

Please continue with this story. I want to find out if Kate does indeed have twins and what the sex of the baby is. I really like the way that you portrayed Gibbs' sarcasim. Everything else was great. All the characters were mainly the same from the show - the only thing that I know would not happen was when you said that Gibbs had paced. He would not do that - even if he was concerned.
