Kaiba is kinda sexist isn't he? I mean what does it matter if it's a girl or a boy. A person should be judged as the person he or she is. Gender should not be relevant. As a woman myself I feel insulted by Kaiba when he gets upset for picking fights with a woman. He should not be picking fights period. Joey being a girl is not a good reason to leave somebody alone. Thats like asumin girls are a weaker sex. They are not. They are males equals. Sure physically guys usualy are stronger built, but that has nothing to do with how you are or behave as a person. Kaiba is havin ishues for all the wrong reasons. Joey was treated more like a equal when Seto thought he was a guy because then he was just bein himself. With female Joey he suddenly plays by different special rules. Insulting. If I where Joey I would not have accepted his cowpoo. Having ishues with Joey lying, sure. Having ishues with having been physical with a girl despite said girl being perfectly capable of handeling herself downright offensive to girls and Joey. She is not weaker just because she is a she. As far as I am concerned, Joey should be treated exactly the same, with the exception perhaps of sometimes more romantic stuff/sexual stuff. But outside of that, no changes. It's absurd. Joey needs to be respected as she is. And Joey picks fights, and also doesn't take Kaiba's bad behavior like most do.

Next to my obivous ishues with the portrayel of gender double standards I do enjoy this fic. I just hope the upcomming chapters will not butcher Joey's tomboyness. Because being a Tomboy does not mean you secretly like to be girly. I'm a girl, and a tomboy, and hate frilly pink fluffy skirts ribbons etc. I do not pretend to be a boy though. So I hope Joey finds her confidence as a woman in this ficm withoud turning into a different person. Her behavior should remain exactly the same even after she comes out as a girl. Because personality is your own, not your body's.

That was an amazing story. The thing I enjoyed most was that joey was still in character even though he was female. Most writers completely change the character and make them complete wimps. But you did a terrific job with that, and the whole plot was amazing as well. I wish there'd been more.

If Joey really did 'forget' she was a girl (at times), I just...don't think she'd be able to flaunt her femininity so carelessly.

Kaiba also acts impulsively and immaturely, and I...can't see him acting that way...wahh...

They suddenly go from hating each other to dating, and a lot of their reasoning is contradictory...

But it's an interesting concept...

Honestly the first genderbent Joey fic that I can tolerate, and by that I mean that I really, really loved it!

I just LOVED this! So much! I mean... Been working on what pretty much equates to the polar opposite of this for almost a year, and just NOW I find out about this fanfic? This was amazing! Joey's own personal forgetfulness on 'his' gender for a large portion of the fanfic, the way she came out about it...

Not to mention the fact that everyone missed the 'F'. That was beautiful.

I loved this story! It's one of the few ones where Joey's a girl that is written well. The only part I missed was the lemon because I really wanted to see that. :( Anyway, amazing story.
