One of the best Edward Scissorhands fics I have read! I have always felt the same way as you; that the ending was too rushed. I wanted more closure with them. I also wanted a happy ending, but that was too much to ask. In the end, the utter impossibility of their love was what made it so beautiful, and your fic did nothing but ADD to the beauty. Lovely.

I just saw "Edward Scissorhands" for the first time a few days ago, and I think this ending would've been much better than the original.

This version flowed nicely, and Edward and Kim got to have a more proper farewell. And while doing so, you managed to keep it canon in a way. I was kinda thinking Kim would've stayed with Edward (because pretty much a lot of people would've liked that ending), but I was caught off guard and this version still stays true with what happened in the original...

I was also upset with the ending to this movie, and I think that this justifies it quite well, although there are millions of people around the world like me who would've like to seen Edward and Kim together. But in this it gives them both enough time to understand that they can't, even though a single "goodbye" was enough to give a realization. Beautiful. Loved it :)

A beautiful story. I love the movie, and I was so unhappy with the ending as well. But it would be so good, if Kim would have stayed with Edward forever. But she couldn't, both of them knew. Edward didn't belong to Kim's world, and Kim didn't belong to Edward's word. But I'm so sad, that they had to apart from eachother and could never see eachother again.
