I liked your story very much. Doc II is one of my all-time favorite characters.

This is an incredibly powerful story. You portrayed the role of the medic in an action-filled episode and left me deeply immersed in a metaphical world.

Your depiction of each of the squad is right on, whether in depth (as Doc) or in support (as Sarge or Kirby and Littlejohn and Billy). You even have peripheral characters (the German and Capt. Parish) reflect the value of Doc.

Thank you for sharing stories which I will revisit and enjoy again and again.
