It is a great pity that you seem to have abandoned it.
Your Veronica is a lot more balanced, and likeable than in the TV series, and your Wallace has a bigger role too.
And your insights into V's thoughts are very entertaining.
So why stop abruptly?

Wow!, a great start, and I love your take on Wallace!
And the line "and I'm rob Thomas"...was truly deliciously amusing!
"you never listen to is not the time to start" was also great as a panicky Wallace sees what he has unleashed.
I always thought Wallace was too passive to be a real bff to Veronica, and that his role could have been more beefed up to be a bff that gave her more insight into "guy behaviour" to balance her often erroneous jumping to conclusions.

This was so great. I don't know how I missed it until now. Looking forward to reading the companion story next.

Love this story! I read Rebuilding a Life first as it was complete and it is so much fun to see this slightly lighter version from V's POV... It is such a touching and fun fic... It is great to see V & L working on their relationship together... Some angst but not too much and the overall tone is so optimistic... Too bad it has been abandoned but I've marked it for alerts in case it gets updated in the future...

At first, I felt a sense of deja vu. I thought I was reading the same story and forgot to refresh or something. But then I realized this is basically 'Rebuilding a Life' sequel and the story is from Veronica's POV. Ah, what a relief! I hope you will continue, because I loved the first story from Logan's POV. While Logan's story was more mature and grown up, this story is more lighter but still good nonetheless, and it fills the plot from the previous one. I hope you will continue, because I cried at the end of Logan's story and wondering what would you do in the end of THIS story? Thank you for this fic!
