I have thoroughly enjoyed this story so far. A lot of people have complained about the characterization in the first chapter, but it didn't seem to bother me. In my game I did the side quest with Raine's mother and then the Dance Pary side quest right after. So the "straw that broke the camel's back" concept worked for me.

I like your concept of Raine and Regal's relationship. They're older than the rest of the cast, their feelings probably will take time to grow and develop. And when it does it's bound to blossom into something beautiful. A professional relationship seems appropriate for right now, but...*squee* I can't wait! I loved this so much, I think I'm going to read it again. I'm a total Raine/Regal shipper and I'm surprised no one picked up on it. I'm not against Raine/Kratos, but come on! Just because Kratos is an ageless pretty boy doesn't mean that he's capable of a relationship. And Raine isn't seventeen, she's not going to fall in love with Kratos because he's "mysterious" or "OMG, SO HAWT!" she's got values in a man, and I can easily see her going for Regal. Just because he isn't a standard bishie boy doesn't mean he isn't relationship worthy. In fact it almost makes him better for Raine. But anyway... (It's a Regal/Raine shipper rant, sorry...)
