This is so beautiful! At first I thought Logan had gone insane or something, but it's so nice to know who's the person he's talking with. Lovely.

I so love this story, it's beyond words.

The start. Of course, the first thought is Manticore! Has Logan been caught? Where is he?

He starts talking. No, that can't be Manticore. They would no about Max...so maybe a Eyes Only case gone wrong? Probably...

Logan talks a about the chair. So that must be a very special person he's talking to. Suspense!

"The bald figure before him was even less physically able than he, he mused." Damn, what is it? I have to admit that for about a second I thought about Professor X...

Oh, Max is there, too. Shy, you're killing me. What's going on?

Still unable to resist the spell, Logan reached toward the questing fingers which, upon contact, wrapped firmly around his offered finger and simultaneously wrapped her diminutive being, all of four hours old, around his heart for good."

OH MY GOD! They have a child! That is amazing! And I love the "wrapped her diminutive being...for good" part. Amazingly well written.

Sneaky beginning - I like it! Very cute and snuggly - just the way (a-ha, a-ha) I like it!

Ur story is like the second story that has had me emotional over a baby, I hate the things myself, so its a real achievement. This was a very cute fic, I loved every minute of reading it. Ur style of writting and description is great. At first I had no clue what was going on but it soon clicked when Max entered. I was wondering who Logan was talking to at first. Now that Ive read it through again it all makes perfect sense, u did an awesome job of covering what was really going on. I thought it was an Eyes Only meeting and I was seriously confused. Then I thought maybe Logan was captured by Manticore and that the reason for the facility talk and emotions spent. It was very touching to hear how Logan felt on first meeting Max and uve captured the memories well. The way Logan sees Max is very heart felt and I had a tear in my eye reading. This story kept me hanging on the edge of my seat to find out what was going on and the conclusion was wonderful. When their baby wrapped its fingers around Logan's finger the picture popped into my head and I do believe u are the only person to have broken down my wall to actually feel for that scene. It was truly touching and I hope u continue writing these short chapters as long as u possiblily can cause Im addicted and I need more:) Aww their little talk about her being a daddy's girl was so cute and I could really imagine that happening if this were to come true. It would have been great if it did. Lol- “She doesn’t want to leave ‘til we figure out a way to spring all these other prisoners...” I can't stop smiling now:) The ending was awesome it left me wanting more because it was brilliant not because u didn't end it well enough. Gotta tell ya something: when i started it, i actually thought he was talking to like someone who had captured him or somehthing... but then i realised that the words he was saying werent treally giving away her secrets if it was for a person after max...

then max came into the picture... and she wasnt mad... then, i started to get suspicious... wondered if they were talking to their child or something... and voila... it was tru...

my favorite of everything you've written, but that might just be because I'm going through a baby-obsessed phase. I didn't figure it out until after the tiny hand...a little slow on the uptake, I know. Even though Iwanted to find out her name at the end I think it's better that you left it out. Anyway, fantastic job.

Ahh! I love it! The tenderness and love between all involved is evident. You had me completely fooled, lol-I think I've read too many gloomy fics and assumed this was one of them. I should have known better! *smacks self* As soon as I realized Logan was talking to their daughter, I scrolled back up and read it all again in that light. I thoroughly enjoyed this. If only we could get MW and JMA to act it out for us...

I love reading your stories and this one is beautiful. Reminded me of the birth of my daughter and the toughness and recuperative powers of her mom.
