Fun opening chapter, wish you would continue

Say, this magnificent story hasn't been updated in a loooong while. Are you planning to continue it?

It's been a while.

Hmmm, I'm gonna have to say that the biggest problem with this chapter is that there are no breaks for scene changes, which makes things confusing. And I don't really get why Lina is giving away her money to distract people from her having something made outside of town...

Mage Tanks, huh? Is that a Pokota that I smell?

The very act of killing her off aside, you were kinda heartless with Sylphiel's death. Lina didn't convey nearly as much emotion as she should have, and Lina isn't nearly used to death enough for something like this to happen to a friend and not feel anything. Not even any guilt at not being able to save her?

Maybe its just because you haven't updated in so long, but you seemed rather off this chapter. Kind of...I don't know...unemotional? Is that the word I want? Anyway, I didn't feel too much emotional depth in this one.

Oh well. Nothing a little editing can't fix. Hope you can update again soon.

Yay! I was afraid this was going to be another story dead on the vine, because you hadn't updated in what seemed a long while. Happiness.

By the way, I take it Lina grew her leg back, if she went for a walk with Gourry or he didn't comment after being put back together himself, "Hey, Lina, what happened to your leg?" I don't remember reading anything, but I could just be unobservant or so taken up with what happened to Gourry I missed Lina's reattaching her leg.

Of course Xellos, as the Beastmaster's priest or Lesser Beast, would call forth the woodland creatures to witness the wedding-but with overlarge eyes? [snirk!] He is, indeed, weird. Love it.

At the very beginning of the fic, I'd suggest "reverberated throughout the hall" rather than "shouted throughout the hall," since you already have "cheer."

Misspelled "eyeing" at the part where they're talking about the crystal.

Several errors in this sentence: "“Give Shabranigdo enough power to break through his human shell’s soul,” I concluded. Those poor people inside those takes never had a chance . . . either die in the explosion or lose their very being to the Dark Lord. I’d take destruction, personally."

A couple other wording errors scattered here and there throughout. Just thought that I'd be a bit more specific on a couple to help you out. D

Also, given what happens in the newest chapters, Xelloss isn't going to end up as Lina's enemy, is he?

Thank you so much for writing this story. It has been the utmost pleasure to read. The style is spot-on to the original novels, your use of descriptions are just the right balance of detail and imagery, and your injection of humor is in perfect style with the Slayers. The characters are both in-character and develop appropriately. The first few chapters might need a little cleaning up, and there are some very minor typo/grammatical mistakes scattered throughout the later chapters than can be easily cleaned up.

Tiny issue: I had trouble following if Lina's leg has regenerated or not. Is she still missing it below the knee? Is she hopping around? Did she repair it the same time she brought Gourry back to life? It seems that she is somehow managing to run and keep pace with everyone else. Maybe I just missed it, but it's not very clear.

This is a great story! I love that it is in keeping with the novels and is even told in the same POV and overall style.

My guess at this point is that the crazy (or should I say chaotic?) Xenasphyr is actually the pendant Lina needs to control her powers.
