erik chapter 9 . 9/20/2019 An engrossing story with a very novel interweaving of the different canon. |
KrisB-71854 chapter 9 . 2/28/2017 I can't believe that I hadn't stumbled across this previously. It's been a good 10 years so I doubt you'll play with this anymore. I was hoping to see things unfold a tad more. It wasn't until I was reading the author notes at the top of a few chapter that I realized that the SW trilogy happened pretty much in the past so you've got a rather clean slate to work with. At first, I sort of liked your Harry. I didn't really like the flashbacks of him building the empire. He seemed more on the dark side at that time and just taking over the world because he could. On the prophecy about his kids... well, he is preparing to launch a war throughout the galaxy. The galaxy isn't the entire universe though. The universe is much, much larger than that. You've done rather well at showing your empire setup for the long haul. If you have one massive ship that can build dyson spheres, I'd assume that he'd have others and a few built. It was more stunning when you encountered the Sith and they were able to actually do something. You spent so much time hyping up the empire that it felt like they'd not be able to do anything. It was like if I perfectly mundane human kicked the Death Star dented it and shook up the entire thing. Those Sith just were never a threat, but then you had them do that which gave them sort of balancing ability to actually be a threat for one minor moment. For the moment, I was enjoying seeing shots of your empire. I just don't see SW having anything to challenge them. Unless the Sith actually were able to start an empire and build a few death stars or colonized a near by galaxy or something. He has no real challenges. Heck, even his long term plans on taking over the galaxy seem meh. Though you do mention massive industry, you haven't really gone into their actual population sizes. I just figure that they could easily drown the Republic and conquer most of it without too many issues. You've got lots of themes blending in this one. I'd say he started out sort of like the WH40K GEoM. You've got him immortal, a religious cult built around him, a massive fleet, and all sorts of various weapons. (techno, organic, magical, force, chi, and likely others as well.) Instead of having him have a downfall, you had him go into hiding and a few times. Now, it seems like he is doing the Dune Leo A thing. Which is more odd since he is more powerful than any emperor in Dune. They couldn't do nearly as many tricks as his people can. You've gone on and on about genetics and gene engineering and all that. I'm not really into that, but hey it is a Dune, Naruto, and WH40K staple. The only setting that is really foreign to is SW of all places. I think that your folks are too loyal and all that. But than again, they apparently are very successful and enjoy a very high standard of living and such so he has been doing something right. If you ever do think about expanding this, I have another setting or two to suggest you reading. Clark's Foundation Series. Basically, it starts off as the galactic empire is dying of its own weight and so an advisor close to the emperor comes up with a plan of creating a seed world for the next galactic empire and such. I actually think many of the basic ideas in there would work for you. Harry doesn't want to be hand guiding humanity all the time. Oh, he could be immortal Emperor, but that's what he is trying to prevent. You said he has 10K years and than humanity should be free ish for the next 3 billion years. I've got a few suggestions. It depends on if you want Harry's current Empire to actually last long or if he has plans so that it lasts only a few thousand years, but does happen to expand throughout their local group before falling. I was actually surprised that you didn't have Earth as the birth place / source of humanity that had spread through to the Republic. Well, you could easily have evolution making humanity pop up all over the place if you really want. I just don't see your empire going through a fall phase any time soon though they might have needed one or two. With your grand wars basically being one on one arena tournaments, it's odd that they have the massive fleet. Well, I guess it lets them fight and have their various internal conflicts without actually destorying land, people, or valuable resources. Hell, I could see some Jedi wanting parts of the Empire's culture to be spread to their Republic. I just don't see where you could go from here. I've been mixed on watching the stuff with Hinata. I liked the start of it and some of the behind the scenes stuff. Finding out that she isn't even 17 though? I can see Harry's annoyance. It's not just her age. She might as well have been another one of his adopted children. It didn't take her long to get him out of that mind set though now did it? Hmm, I suggest stasis for one of the Twins. The male is likely the heir and all that. Can't really have two run around at the same time. Harry could hand over the empire to the Boy and he will know massive death is going to happen because the Boy has to conquer the galaxy with the fleet on his own. What to do with The Daughter though? Marry her off? Nah. I could see him wanting to raise her in secret and in the backwaters all just on their own. That might be reason enough for the Boy to be left in charge without them both being raised together. If they are raised together, I could see her ending up encharge for the moment and him doing the fleet admiral thing. Damn Sailor Moon. The Daughter is Regent running the Empire and doing the domestic stuff. The Son is tasked with bringing the rest of the galaxy under heel and properly into the Empire. Together they are a proper blender and lots of death happens as they do the conquering bit. You are missing something like Warp Entities, Chaos, or Eldritch Beings that only followers of Harry's Holy Order actually end up having the ability to fight. He needs to run into something like Orion's Arm or the WarFrame Origin system for a proper challenge. |
WingedEagle chapter 9 . 7/7/2014 dont listen to jealous noobs, interesting story keep updating. It might be too confusing with star wars/harry potter/naruto crossovers though, try just two. |
azurenemesis chapter 1 . 8/7/2011 this is total crap. the story is bullshit and is completely fucking stuffed with god-damn oc's. you should've just taken off the harry potter tag on this god-awful fanfic and just claimed it as a god-awful original story instead. you SUCK! get a life dumbass. 0/10 |
hellkeeper6 chapter 9 . 9/13/2010 great story, too bad you seemed to have stopped writing |
Trigon chapter 9 . 12/29/2009 This is a well written piece of crap. |
TJeanetteT chapter 9 . 11/21/2009 Why didn't Harry crush them? The twins just might be the cause of trillions of deaths. Not good. I suppose the solution would be to just not let them have the throne. If they are not in a position of power they wont have the power to cause a war that would do that. |
SuperiorShortness chapter 9 . 7/31/2009 Tons of fun! Not many stories can give me the thrill of reading anymore... Thanks. |
Meatzman2 chapter 9 . 12/3/2008 this is not a fic, this is an opus combining the best sci fi and fantasy out there, a supreme collation of all those worlds with my favorite hero to put it all together. An absolutely outstanding piece of fanfiction, thank you very much. |
