i thought expecto patronum means I await (for) a protector. and Remus's and Harry's childhoods seem erily similar. Love the hint of love from Sirius too. Only problem is Harry's and Remus's childhoods are too alike i do think Remus was mistreated too but i thought i was reading about Harry when i first looked at this not Remus.

Huh...I thought it was Harry narrating. I figured it wasn't when it said "I am sixteen, blah blah blah..." because learnt the Patronus at 13. But I wasn't really expecting it to be Remus. Good fic though.

Wow! For most of the one shot, I thought it was about Harry. It wasn't until the sixteen year old memory that I realized it was otherwise (since Harry learns the Patronus charm in third year, mastering it just a few months short of fourteen years old) I figured it was about Remus then, but wasn't sure until he was adressed as Moony. This was amazing!

Expecto Patronum is latin, and actually means

"I wait for my Patron"

I say this meaning no offense, and I love the way it makes you think Harry is the person speaking, but then it turns out to be Remus.
