Mividaerestu chapter 35 . 12h I just had to leave a message to say how much I loved this story. I was so hooked and eager to read each new chapter! So sad it’s over wish you’re write a sequel! Well done for a fantastic fanfic! |
black-lotusblossom chapter 35 . 6/30 Ah the perfect ending! Always loved Ranma 1/2 as it was one of my first mangas but it was just always crazy without any real development. Which is nice for what it was but having some kind of.. closure would have been nice and I found it here in your fanfic! Finally tying up lose ends with the characters actually growing; family coming together and showing true care between the sisters. Thank you for writing this! |
black-lotusblossom chapter 33 . 6/30 Ah finally. It killed me with Ranma’s mom hating Akane. She always loved Akane |
black-lotusblossom chapter 8 . 6/30 Yes to your author notes! It’s so true! Usually the people who are brilliant or naturally good at things aren’t always the best teaching. Teaching is also a skill and I am so glad to see that acknowledgement for Akane. She was always put as the “weakest” among them but it’s simply because everyone has literally lived and breathed martial arts since they were young (but Akane, although trained, didn’t have to live it like everyone). I love how you acknowledge that she could be a good teacher and has potential! That always a bit bothered me since I do think she is good but was always a bit under-appreciated. I love the more mature sides of everyone. |
caro chapter 35 . 4/5 woww unos besos mas habria e stado bien, pero todo termino donde debia |
SonkaD chapter 35 . 2/13 Good job! Thanks for the great story. Yes, you did a perfectly fine job writing the DAFT contest (I liked that you came up with a new type of martial art competition, and such a hot one nonetheless!). I do hope that you'll write the epilogue someday, though, because as fine as the later chapters are, you let a lot of loose ends from the beginning, like the whole arc with Nabiki's schemes. You totally dropped Gosunkugi (who must have been mad at some point?), Konatsu (who was supposed to get something out of the bargain but I still can"t figure out what?), the Amazons, with Shampoo pregnant (although not by Ranma's deposit, if I undertsood right? But they're going to find out, eventually?) |
Ytwong chapter 35 . 12/3/2019 I love how everyone stayed true to their characters. I absolutely love this ending. |
linken63 chapter 35 . 11/15/2019 I wonder what happened with shampoo and the baby that wasn't related to ranma |
bobbwa chapter 12 . 12/2/2018 Rereading for the billionth time, did you ever record an audio version? |
kekita chapter 35 . 11/30/2018 Wow, your story is perfect ! I've read a lot of Ranma's fanfics and I can say yours is the best, no doubt! Besides creativity, his writing and grammar are also excellent, I say this because I'm Brazilian and I use google translator to read, and the translation of your story is perfectly done, without errors, as if it had been written in my language (which almost never happens). Just have to thank you for sharing it, it was a great happiness to see such a sweet continuation for the story of Akane and Ranma. Thank you very much and congratulations! p.s .: I liked it so much that I read it all in just 3 days. |
fuzzyhoudini chapter 35 . 10/1/2018 Hi, hello. I initially started reading this story in 2014, somewhere in the middle of your writing it. And well, I finished it and all that. For whatever reason, two days ago, I started thinking about it again. I've always felt very attached to Ranma 1/2, even though I read it a very, very long time ago. And somehow, there aren't that many truly great Ranma 1/2 fan fiction. I mean, I can think of a multitude of reasons, namely it's age by the time fan fiction became particularly widespread. Of course, there are some great ones out there, some of which you mention in your notes, but it's often hard to sort through the chaos to encounter those. Though this is my second (if not third or fourth or so on) read through of the story, I still just adore it. I truly felt like it took the manga to another level, but didn't greatly stray from the confines of the canon universe. I figure this manga is sometimes hard to write for because of how truly fantastic and ludicrous it is, even if that's what makes it so great. Your writing also just makes the reader so emotionally involved. I'm alway angry at Shampoo's actions, but to me, they're neither beneath her nor out of her character. All the romantic scenes, no matter how many times I read them, have me smiling and squealing almost uncontrollably with glee. I love love love the idea of the dance competition because that's so in the character of the manga. So much was learned and resolved through martial arts in the manga, and to me, it's only fitting that it be a major event in most any story. Yeah, the manga was absurd, so dammit, the fan fiction can be absurd too. However, on the other hand, you grounded your story much more than the manga, which is honestly something one ought to do if it's going to be even the slightest bit realistic. While a reader (such as myself) often reads a manga (such as Ranma) for it's pure ridiculousness, he or she might often turn to fan fiction to find a little more of that composure that exists in the real world. This story finds a great balance between the two. I'm sorry for the random little rant, even though clearly this story has a few years on it. I just felt compelled to reiterate how good this fan fiction is, and how, even if it took almost a decade, I'm unspeakably grateful that you came back and finished this story through the hardships. From a readers standpoint, though I wasn't here for it the entire ten years, it was completely worth it. |
Satyrykal chapter 35 . 3/21/2018 this is so unbelievably good. best ranma fanfiction out there, even if it started from tragedy. i got into ranma 1/2 sometime around when you started writing this, but i only used to read completed fics. i eventually switched fandoms but came back out of nostolgia and found this. im so glad i did. fantastic jib, even more impressive that you finished it after all that time. cheers, satyrykal |
Guest chapter 35 . 3/9/2018 I have NEVER read fan fiction so well written. I was absolutely hanging onto the end of every word. Everything was so intune to the way the true characters would’ve acted these scenarios out. You’ve done an incredible job at describing dance and fighting scenes. I could see them perfectly in my mind, even though every movement wasn’t laid out for us. The most amazing part was the pacing. It’s so hard for a fanfic writer to give a story a good pace — but you did it BEAUTIFULLY. This was truly as good as any part of the cannon Ranma 1/2 story. I’m sad my reading has come to an end. Well done. (Please keep writing! You have a gift!) |
Guest chapter 33 . 3/9/2018 This was amazing — perfect. It’s EXACTLY how I would picture it going between these two characters. The bits of banter and the sweet, yet incredibly mundane timing. Ugh. My heart is shattering. You are amazing. |
Ria chapter 35 . 1/26/2018 I think it's 4th time I have finished this it amazes me how new and beautiful it always feel.I am sure in future I am gonna read this again :p and please write more fic like this for the hungry readers like me :) thank you so so much for this wonderfully beautiful bless you.. |
