Well, okay, not really. This really was well written. The descriptions of little details work well, and the dialogue isn't forced or clumsy at all. I can believe this is exactly how they were just before all the bad things start happening. I appreciate that. But when something is so well done, it's easier to just get caught up in the emotion, so may what I really do want to say here is "Aw!"
